Best Budget Zoom Lens for Sony E Mount? | Tamron 28-75 f/2.8

Ғылым және технология

My review on the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for Sony E-mount. An awesome lens that every photographer/videographer can benefit from. Image quality on the beauty is super sharp and I found it to be worth saving the extra $1000 compared to the G master.

As soon as you joined 5D club... Let me tell you, the old EF version of this lens is also a quite good and very cheap way to get fast standard zoom for your EOS Classic =)

Thanks for the review! I’m just wondering if I should buy the 35 1.8 or the tamron, as they are at the same price. For low light shooting and isolation it will be good enough? What do you say?

There's pros and cons to both. The 35mm is lighter, smaller, and has a faster aperture but the tamron zooms, is weather sealed, and is tac sharp. I guess it depends on what you like to shoot. Are you walking around a lot where having a bigger lens like the Tamron becomes a problem? Having the 1.8 on the 35mm will definitely help with low light and isolation, but if you can sacrifice just a little bit of higher iso to use the 2.8 on the tamron, that'd still be my pick in this case. Thanks for the comment!
