I was stationed in Albuquerque for a few years and I still crave golden pride breakfast burritos

Papa franks hands down is the best breakfast burrito in ABQ!

The New Mexico Beef Jerky Co. Is absolutely amazing.

The Burrito Lady on Eubank in Abq is my go to she should have been on this list ...the best hands down!

@albuquerquesbest yes it a definite must be prepared her chili is extremely 🔥 🥵 but delicious ...I believe they will reopen again in August sometime due to the owner being on medical leave ...try the steak and green chili lunch burrito it's delicious 😋

The manager of Tia Betty Blues is my aunt there. I worked there for about a year but moved states :( loved it there the food was always super good!

I promise you to whoever go to el mariachi restaurant in NE Albuquerque nm for a burrito🔥🔥

I'm so happy that Twisters and Blakes arn't even considered any longer because of how much they have fallen in quality. However it sucks not seeing the Burrito Lady or Garcia's on the list.

I used to like Golden Pride but their eggs are awful now so I don’t eat there anymore. My favorite is The Burrito Lady on Eubank and Lomas. My favorite is the number 6, it’s a pork chop breakfast burrito and it’s delicious. Go try it tomorrow and let me know what you think.

shouldve went to el patio. best one in town but tias is great too

There are two El Patio locations in ABQ and they were on my list but the existing reviews were mostly below 4.5 and so they just barely missed the cut. I have a rental house right by the Rio Grande location and I eat there occasionally, and it has always been good.

Golden pride is always filled with flies glad you didn't have to go in. The tortillas are good because they are frontier tortillas

Thanks for sharing Laura. Yes, Larry has always made good tortillas ...... well... for being machine made. I do prefer them to be hand rolled, thicker and cooked on a cast iron skillet.

If you haven’t tried Tia Bs Waffleria definitely go try it!! It’s so bomb get some adovada with Christmas on top, so good!!

I used to blow glass in that basement when it was Kosmic Trading Post before the Waffleria! They have awesome blue corn waffles!

These places are nothing out of the ordinary.

i have had some of those you tried . sadly , the one that beats them all was discontinued due to the pandemic . and i know you wont believe me , but the best was MC DONALDS SUNRISE BURRITO .

Where is abulitas Blake’s little Anita’s and Kathy’s at try them places

You guys are doing this all wrong and unscientific as possible. There’s no control. You’re getting different ingredients on all of them from every place.

You are absolutely right, we are as unscientific as you can get. Our goal is to share what the food tastes like to the average person who walks in and places an order. Now Walter White .......... he did it all right and very scientific!

I used to live in ABQ for a long time and I’m very sad that I never been to any of these places except Golden Pride. Twisters was my favorite but they gone down hill

How can you give an accurate score if you're talking while eating and not savoring. Patience is a virtue, what's 10 more seconds?

I call them breakfast bergueros. Lol

Mexican Coke or a jarritos soda goes good with my burrito

25 years ago Burritos Alistante had the best breakfast burrito in NM. Then they got greedy, reduced portions MASSIVELY and went with cheaper ingredients. They don't even taste good anymore. Biggest decline in food quantity and quality I've seen in my life. I won't go there if they gave it tome for free.

Barelas is the best ,bar none my friend

Robert, the locations in Los Lunas and Bosque Farms have always been expensive but tasted great. This burrito we got at the Broadway location was not good and I will not be back. Thanks for your input!

Gabriel, I could not agree with you anymore. Just made a huge batch of calabacitas this afternoon from squash from my garden and it is better than anything I get in a restaurant. But every now and then I find a home cooked meal, like the smothered Christmas style burrito at Tia Betty Blues. I do not think I could make one that good. I was born and raised at Atrisco and Central area and still have my real estate office right there. You can't eat at everyone's house. Just because it's homemade doesn't mean it's good.

You definitely lost me when you put Golden Pride at number 7. Maybe it was the bacon? I really do love bacon but sausage is king in breakfast burritos IMHO. Get the number 11. Same burrito but with sausage. YUM! And don't even get me started on smothered vs regular breakfast burritos. That's a whole nother animal. OMG. I need to shut up. Lol. I am way too passionate about breakfast burritos. They are one of my favorite foods ever.
