I some how agree with you. I have two RDA, one with HBL and the other one is with UBL. I will not recommend UBL to even my worst enemy. UBL is nothing but problems for you and their customer service is almost not exist.

I didn't feel the same in HBL and MCB as well. I heard positive feedback for Meezan bank too. But UBL, you are right, haven't heard a lot of good things about it.

As UAE expat which RDA account should we open ( USD or PKR ) ? and How should we do our further investments ( naya pak certificate or mutual funds ?...

For mutual funds, it does not really mater if you invest from regular account or RDA. Whichever is convinient.

What if you already have a normal current account with HBL and you still want to open a separate RDA with HBL? Do you know pros/cons?

i have both - if you want, you can make both too. No issues.

I applied online for RDA in HBL, the bank assigned RM as well. Its been two weeks now since i applied and still i have not received any email about activation of the account. Sent RM numerous emails while keeping the senior RDA mangers in CC as well but no reply at all. This is the level of service being provided by a bank like HBL.

For NRP, when/where is the 10 % profit deducted for the Nayaa Pakistan Certificate ? Is it deducted from your return or do you have to file ? Also you recommended subscribing to highest tenor (5 year), because penalty for withdrawing is low ?

Yes, penalty for early withdrawal is nothing. Just additinal profit will be deducted. The 10% tax will deducted when u get the profit. The best part is that this amount doesn’t have to be declared in tax returns.

Sir, I watched one of your videos in which you were saying that it is better to open an RDA account in PKR rather than USD but I did not understand why you said so. Because as per my understanding the profit ratio is more in USD. I am talking about profit wise only regardless of if you want to repatriate the money or not. Can you please explain. USD is better only if you are able to invest 5K USD every time you reinvest - otherwise its better to invest in PKR as the amount to reinvest is not that much.

Hello, Is it possible for a non resident Pakistani to open a normal bank account in Pakistan using NICOP? As I feel nervous about not being able to deposit money within Pakistan should a purchase go wrong and I need a refund on it. If so, what documents are usually required to open a normal account? Thanks for the help!

Hi, yes its definitely possible for NRPs with NICOPs to open the account, but for the local account, you need to be in Pakistan at the time of account opening. Documents required varies bank to bank, but usually things like copies of your 2nd passport / residence visa / job salary certificate / any other ID of the other country / your office ID are required. I would advice you to open RDA first and then from your RM of RDA check all the requirements before going to Pakistan and open the account then.

No boss - The RDA wont allow inward transactions from local banks.

You can select anyone you like. Both are same in terms of profit returns. If you are comfortable with “Islamic” than you can go for it.

it depends on one back to the other - but usually 48 hours is the max time to reflect in your account.

Hi Sir, plz suggest me the best method to TRF money to RDA from UAE, other then banks. Because bank not giving good rates etc. & if i go with Al ansari exchange something then, they do TRF through their local agent in PAK, which means local TRF & RDA don't accept local TRF. So could u plz suggest, the way to TRF to RDA by living in UAE?

@@muhammadsajjadkhan5796 for transferring from UAE to Pakistan in PKR - you can simply use ansari exchange or fardan, these provide the best rates. I use them regularly. For USD transfer it’s a different story.

Can I switch my investments from one bank to an other. The reason is faysal bank is giving me very hard time for my complaints resolution. Also tell me the best way to the resolution of complaints in a bank?

As far as I know officially you can't - But I heard people have tried and successful in transferring funds between banks. Bad customer service is not an option for any bank! You should report to SBP specially on twitter.

Debit card daily withdrawal limit is 50,000 PKR is the limit on HBL otherwise UBL offer 200.000

you can ask for limit increase. Or, better to have another bank account in Pakistan if you want to withdraw in Pakistan.

You need to follow same process that you open the account for USD, or contact your RM. I believe not all banks have the option to open account through online system - you might need to contact someone in bank.

Wasala, Yes, you can purchase PKR INPC/NPC through your HBL RDA PKR account - no issues. But you need to contact your RM for that.

Personal loan is not possible, but government offers car and home loans for RDA.

@@umairqureshi5146 You need to first see for the eligibility through your RM. They will only hold onto your savings if you apply lien based loan.

@wali Khan I like your content. I have a couple of questions surrounding RDA and hoping you can help. Can a non working spouse open an RDA account in their name? (For eg can I open one in my wives name and deposit funds from abroad?) And if I do want to let’s assume get some land investment and purchase and pay the land cost through RDA in Pakistan in Year 1 and let’s assume in Year 5 I sell those lands and have PKR which I want to repatriate backyard k US/Canada, is this facilitated through RDA account? ( I was told we cannot deposit money in accounts from Pakistan) so how will my land sale$ can be repatriated ?

House wife can open RDA - but husband's letter might be required to show that the funds will be transferred from husband's income. Funds cannot be added from within Pakistan as the RDA can only accept foreign remittances. For repatriation of money, you need to choose some other route in such cases.

@@WaliKhan_2k so basically it is fair to say that if one does bring money into Pakistan using RDA and they are fully repatriable as long as one is investing in NPC or other Roshan approved investments for all other investments the conventional banking rules will follow to repatriate funds for future investment returns and those conventional account policies the risk may be potential changes with new Govt regulations/restrictions for future fund repatriation outside of Pakistan? Apart from this risk are there taxation or withholding tax differences for repatriating money using conventional banking means?

@@MM-ly8pd yes, but for funds remitted through RDA, if invested properly, then I believe even stock market gains and property proceeds can be repatriated as well. But I have to see the process for such cases.

If you are outside Pakistan, then just contact any bank. I would suggest to contact HBL or Mezaan bank and they will get back to you soon for the full process. You can do yourself too by just filling forms on their website.

Thanks for reaching me out. You can have both accounts in same bank. Funds transfer from RDA to in country account is possible. But vice versa is not possible in ANY CASE.

@@aamirraza6463 you can check with exchange houses like galaxy and Pakistan Exchnage. They do it easily if you are doing same account name transfers with the proof of source of funds in Pakistan. I remember they offered competitive rates but at max one transaction can be of 40lacs.

I bought 2 lacs certificate for 5 years, i received 10910 Rupees profit with 10% deduction 1091. My question is on 2 lacs the profit must me 11000 rupees??? Why 90 rupees less?? No doubt HBL customer service is the best.
