Damn Oddsparks looks promising automation with pikmin combat, wonder how I missed that one and went straight to my wishlist for sure. Same goes with industrial annihilation, but then again I haven't played planet annihilation for a couple of years. Also seems Craftopia is also planned to go full release in 2024 and is an open world 3rd exploration/automation game.

You, sir, have earned yourself a subscriber. Solid list. Some I heard about, others I haven’t, but all are now wishlisted 😂

Man, Oddsparks looks intriguing. Hadn't heard of it before, but will definitely Wishlist it!

Oh, yeah. Stopped my first playthrough after I had the cannon thingys launching a steady supply of those mirrors into orbit for power, and had made some progress on the Sphere itself. Been quite a while.

Thanks for the great recs. Hostile Mars is another one that looks interesting with a unique premise (Tower Defense, Automation, with thousands of enemies flooding your base and providing resources for your automation network)

already got desynced and dyson sphere program, and Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure got my attension, but overall all look good

amazing video as always

Dawn Apart for sure got my attention the most.

I have to say. oddsparks looks very interesting. what i'm looking forward to is Foundry though I would say it's a very classic factory game.

I didn’t know a Shapez 2 is in the works, but considering how much I played the first game, I guess where all my free time will be disappearing to once that releases 😅

It's great that Factorio is getting a DLC, if only because they more or less established the standard for the genre. Ok, technically they were based on a Mod for Minecraft, but if we are going that route we have to go back to Dwarf Fortress and possible even Rouge.

Idk , I’d rather them go for factorio 2 instead. There already is a mod of factorio in space and it’s generally huge prob alrdy way more developed than whatever they gonna release so it seems kinda useless..

It reminds me so much of fantasy fiction, after a while it feels like everything is trying to be LOTR, but there already is LOTR. Which is fine for me as my Factorio time is precious and I really don't want to share it with another game.

Snacktorio Does Have a demo. Not sure for how long but it does have it now. As for Dyson Sphere program the "Rise of the Dark Fog" update is set to launch for the 15th of this month (December) Least Half Seem somewhat interesting.

I've played the craftomation demo and even though I already know how to program I still found it too hard/tedious. Some functionality like telling how full the heat sources were was missing, and keeping all the heat sources fueled consistently with a limited number of bots was very annoying and if it failed at all, the area would ice over again and trap the bots in that area requiring manual work to unjam the system. Basically there was a lot of micro-managing for a supposed automation game.

Im exited for dyson sphere program because i am gonna buy it in this years Winter Sale on steam

Survival Vacancy was an attempt at a 2D vertical factory builder but the game is not great. Snacktorio looks like another attempt at this. Autoforge is another one I guess. Looking forward to these!

my personal favorite upcoming factory game for 2024 is Techtonica, and I think describing it as "satisfactory but underground" doesn't really describe it. It's more "satisfactory but with a story line", and while at first you might think that people who want to play factory game are not there for the story, it actually works pretty well and helps give a motivation to keep expending your factory, you're not doing this just for the sake of it, you're doing it to progress in the story. it scratches the itch that satisfactory's never-finished alien artifacts were promising to do.

after factorio, the best in this list is desynced. great amount of hours to play, although im downloading autoforge to try it out. it have a very good feeling

Time to Morp seems like Slime Rancher but with factory automation and using the creatures for more than just their plorts.

The Crust and Desynced look interesting. I like the graphics and the seemingly higher complexity of the former; the latter has an interesting automation aspect. I already got Satisfactory and Factorio to fill most of my needs. :)

What am I most looking forward to? Satisfactory version 1.0! No, there won't be an update 9 or 10. The main things I like about Satisfactory - no base defence, no pressure, except that which you put on yourself. I can get enough pressure from work, thanks very much!

Really enjoying Satisfactory. Update 8 included migrating to the current version of Unreal Engine. This introduced some issues. Devs are on top of this, and are fixing existing bugs faster than they're introducing new ones.

Satisfactory has to live up to the level of factorio for bug-free-playability or it will never be as good, espeecially given all the MP bugs that still persist to this day.

Satisfactory is very buggy, nothing lines up, the UI is one of the worst I've ever seen, and a lot of features are half-baked, the train system for example is a joke compared to the one in Factorio. It also takes ages to get anything done in Satisfactory. Satisfactory is overrated.

A longtime fan of Planetary Annihilation: Titans, I cannot wait for Industrial Annihilation to come out!

Orbital Potato!! Satisfactory is not receiving any more big updates in Early Acces! They have just Announced that the 1.0 is comming here in 2024 :D :D Was announced only a few days ago :D

Great list as usual Orbital Potato, I'm at half and half, with one half on wishlist or EA purchase and the other not interested. I cannot play every game out there, sadly, so I have to limit myself somehow.

Dyson sphere program is a great game with just *one* issue- it turns my PC into a space heater, I straight up can't play it half the year because you can't lower any graphics settings.

Waiting for Factorio DLC the most, since years now.

Kind of off topic from the video, but I think there is an issue with your twitch schedule times. I only recently found your twitch channel and it said stream tomorrow 5pm so I came back next day at 5pm and no stream and it said stream tomorrow 5pm so I came back at 5pm the next day and no stream again. It said stream 2pm on Saturday also no stream.. either twitch is trolling me or there is an issue with the schedule (I’m in Europe, so times might be different from what you put in since twitch adjusts them to my Timezone)

There is one game I'd like to make a honourable mention: Minecraft with Create mod and all the Create Mod Addons. Just to put it in perspective: With Create Mod and Create Craft & Addictions (two mods) you can get 80% of all stone and mineral resources just com cobblestone. You need to create machines (contraptions) and factories to get and process your resources. Minecraft being Minecraft the space you have is near infinite and you factory is all module so there is no "perfect way" to build it so do as you like!

Final factory seems to be hard but fun, hope it goed well.

Industrial Annihilation is my most hyped

Dyson sphere is not an intergalactic factory. In fact is set in the same single galaxy. And each players plays in a single sector of said galaxy.

Been in early access for a while but Voxel Tycoon is another automation/logistics game I'm keeping an eye on. Thanks for the list plenty of games I hadn't heard of in it.

I would suggest that you make sure the captions actually line up with what you're saying. I appreciate that they're not the automatically generated cc! But there's words, phrases, and entire sentences that you say that aren't in the captions or the wording in the captions is different than what you say, and it's very confusing.

I feel like Coffee Stain will never finish Satisfactory, they just update with cosmetic changes but no new resources or machines. Factorio is still the best imo, it gets even better with overhaul mods.

Desynced is such a nice game, but their own sintax for programming has some flaws which makes the player use the language and not the logic (basically, their language is not intuitive), it needs to be polished to actually hit the crowd.

You missed Captain of Industry, one of the best in my opinion with deformable terrain and great graphics and set in modern day. Came out on steam last year and average 93% after 4000 reviews.

would count to much on that game it is a yogcast after all it will get 3/4 of the way done then they run off with your money look up their past game , do the research before buying any yogcast game 👎🏽

Uhhh...no. Factorio was a cool concept when it came out, and I thought it was neat. Played a bit, and its not for me. Then, Dyson Sphere Program dropped and I haven't been the same since. If you think these are all simply "clones", you are missing out. On a lot.

i dont think so. I tried factorio - i cant handle that game. So i tried satisfactory, it is for me really better, so i put ca. 300 hours in it. Then i tried mosseminers - game is senseless, because no any challenge (game runs to 100 percent without doing anything - a background game), then i looked the ohter games... well, its ok, if u have fun with the others, but as I said, for me, its like the other genres: one idea and thousand clones. @@user-ff8rs7gk6r

Techtonica is Satisfactory inside a planet, rather than Factorio. I spend whole week in Techtonica. Still it is Early Access and not finished and lack of content is upsetting. I like the game though. It has best visual for me to the moment. I prefer realistic rather than pesky stupid dendy junior graphic.

Man Industrial Annihilation sounds cool but after the shitshow that was total annihilation I can't really be exited for it, i mean really any dev with a game where they end up taking the old game down and making a "new" game that is really just a tagged on expansion to remove bad reviews is really a dev I am not going to trust.

Foundation and Tectonica I will never even try, for the same reason as Satisfactory. I am medically incapable of playing first person games, even if they have 3rd person mode. I can't even play Minecraft. Omega Crafter and Craftomation remind me a lot of Autonauts, I will certainly enjoy them.

Oh god, the Crust also has these terrible AI generated Barbie-Faces. Why don't they just leave it out entirely, it's so awkward when games do this.

Satisfactory - zero challenge and a terrible building UI Mob Factory was light, but a solid good time. Steamworld Build looks like a city-builder with no automation.

I reckon they do it so the pirates don't grab them, as the scene folks only do full release games...

I don't understand "Gorgeous" and "Voxel" in the same sentence. Voxel graphics make my eyes bleed. Lazy coding. Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere have set the bar and none of the others on this list come close.

Its just a different art style, they have the same mechanics most of the time so as long as the in game mechanics are good snd enjoyable graphics aren’t that big of a deal

Each to their own, of course; But... by this yardstick, as long as the mechanics are good you'd be happy with stick figures building featureless boxes? If I'm playing a game for 1000 hrs plus, I prefer something pleasant to look at. Voxel/pixel graphics just remind me too much of the bad old days when that's all there was. I envy you in a way, as you have a wider range of acceptable games than I do. @@BubbleVBuddy
