Best and Worst Beverages - Grocery Haul (energy drinks and more) - Thomas DeLauer
I've done a lot of healthy grocery hauls in the past, but I've never done a haul focused solely on healthy beverages. There are TONS of beverage options at Sprouts, and many people (wrongly) assume that because a product is available in Sprouts that it's automatically "healthy." This is far far far from the truth, with loads of drink options at Sprouts being loaded with sneaky, unhealthy ingredients. That being said, Sprouts does offer some pretty amazing (and tasty) beverage options...you just have to know what to look out for...

LOVE that you called out all the people who don't purchase what they tell you is good for us on keto. Too many people just trying to put out content to put out content. Especially the ones who you can tell have never seen an item before they are going to tell you if it's "approved" for keto or not. Or who don't know what the terms they are using mean. Or ask if the viewers have tried it because they haven't, but don't buy to try what they are recommending. I really appreciate your knowledge, integrity and honest.

It's pointless trying to wash pesticides off plants as it's also inside them. Organic is better but we really dont know the history of the farm where organic foods are grown. After 3 years of no pesticides, land is considered organic. (Nevermind the fact that the same dirt had pesticides dumped on it for 50 years prior to that!)

My favorite beverage is lemon water, so I buy lots of lemons. I use the peels after squeezing them as a natural rub on deodorant and it works better than anything I've ever used. I learned recently that erythritol gives me bad reactions so stevia is my only sweetener since I'm trying to stay in ketosis. Keto is fantastic!

I do not know why stores do not want you to video record. You are buying things and you are promoting their store. Thank you for doing this. Drinks is a tough one because I want flavor but got to watch out for what flavors they put in the drink. Again, I love that you point out that just because something is healthy, it doesn't mean that it is good for you to have a lot of it, such as coconut and juice. A lot of people think that drinking a lot of fruit is good for you. Again, you taught me a lot and helped me be able to make better choices when it comes to buying drinks. I didn't know that organic hot drinks were important.

FYI the best thing taurine does is cut back lactic acid buildup, which is great for recovery from heavy workouts. This is one of the huge reasons that athletic people can see more benefits from energy drinks over a more sedentary person.
