I bought the 3000 series carbon fiber Zephyr by KK and it has a 10 2 1 retrieval and I bought a light rod/reel combo size 2000 reel by Kk and I will be using that for the first time this spring!

I’m an American in Europe and I’m going up to Sweden this summer. The fish in the area I’ll be will be pike, perch and sea trout. I left my gear in the States and will have to start over. I love to catch pike for fun but perch & trout for the grill. I’m trying to decide if I can only bring one with. I have a military apo box so I can order from Bass Pro and others.

I'm gonna order the Kastking Perigee 6'6" today. I'm going to get a medium fast just for trout fishing. Please explain about getting 2 TIPS . I saw in the comments on Amazon that people said you really didn't and some were not happy. You kinda got me thinking about getting the Speed Demon reel too 😅. A 2000 size might be good for that. If you would please explain the TIP THING before I order tonight. Thanks in advance

Honestly that's a really good combo haven't tried that brand but medium fast is about perfect. If you're stream fishing you might go a little on the Xtra light fast action as having a longer tod in streams can get cramped I had a 6 ft srs rod and kept being in the bushes when trying to fight a fish while stream fishing I know this is 6 months old but hope it helps

I came around Kastking and I'm slowly switching all my gear to Kastking rod and reel

I have newly bought megatron 4000 and i am thinking about getting a best combo for this reel. I go mostly fishing on saltwater 40-60m deep...please suggest a best rod for megatron 4000. Fish type like kingfish, queenfish, red snapper, trevally etc

Hi from Russia! I think it would be nice to wrap more line to the spool. I always wrap to the edge of the spool, it really helps to throw the bait for long distances. Just try it 😉

Thx! Yes I’m aware of the shortage of line lol. At the time of making this I only had that amount of line available. Fully spooled up now👊👊

Hi Dedy, your setup is good, the MH action is just a recommendation from Clayton, but if you haven't use MH action before, you can have a try.

After a year making this video, do you still feel the same about having this rod and reel if you could only have one?

Don't ever put a hook inside the eye of a rod cracks start out as a scratch in your guides

I only use Med. I don't like the MH

Personal preference for sure! The problem I would have with using a medium action rod is that it may not have enough backbone when using certain baits. However with that said I’m sure you do a great job using a medium action rod👊👊
