I love my Wolf steam oven. I use it more than my regular oven. I’ve had it 6 years. I have another kitchen remodel project I’m working on and I’m designing it with having another Wolf steam oven.

I bought the subzero pro48 and wolf 48 in November and still haven't received them. Both have increased in price since I paid for them... Really great content, love the information you provide.

We are trying to finalize our appliance options and was hoping you could give feedback on a few questions. I would really like to go with Wolf or something Pro for the cooking portion of our appliances (range, oven, microwave). We are wanting a more the affordable luxury options for the STANDARD DEPTH fridge and dishwasher and then something good for the vent. We are wanting to stay in the 15k range if possible. (Thermador is an option but their lead times seem to be the most brutal at the moment) Assumptions based on MSRP: 1. A 36" Wolf Gas Range is actually less than a 36" DF Cafe or Kitchenaid... We use the oven for some baked goods but mostly meat, veggies, casseroles, etc... We do a lot of searing and sauteing so would I be upset with the lower BTU on the Wolf gas range... Opinion? The Wolf DF is a little too much of a price jump. 2. If we go with separate pieces then a 36" Wolf Cooktop and Single E Series wall oven also keep us in the price range although we could do a range top and wall oven for slightly more in Cafe or Kitchenaid. Main Questions: 1. Is it better to go with the lower models of something like Wolf or go with the premium models for something like Cafe or Kitchenaid? i.e. Wolf E Series Pro wall oven vs Cafe Pro Series Smart Convection. 2. Besides Cafe and Kitchenaid are there any other affordable luxury Standard Depth Refrigerators that you would recommend? If not which one of these two would your recommend? Additional Questions if you have time: 3. Thoughts on the Bosch 36" range. I've seen very mixed reviews online? 4. Should I be considering Fisher & Paykel in the cooking mix? THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!! they have been a great source of knowledge and help!

    1. The Wolf gas is your best performer. Don't be fooled by BTU's. They have better flame control and a more consistent heat. You'll love the flexibility of going high to a 140 simmer on every burner. It sounds like you're a better candidate for gas than dual fuel anyways. They always say electric is better for baking but a better way to say that is it's better for "crisping" because it's a dryer heat. You can bake just about anything in a gas range and be happy with the results. 2. LG makes a great standard depth fridge as well but the Cafe is really nice. Either of those would be a great recommendation. 3. Bosch makes a lot of amazing products but they don't make that 36" range. It is made for them by another company and I would say you are already considering better options. 4. Fisher & Paykel is a great product. It sits below Wolf in terms of performance but I would recommend it over KitchenAid and Cafe.

We just bought a house with a Fulgor Milano 48" dual fuel range and neither of us have any experience with these types of luxury/expensive appliances. Not sure what to expect out of it.

I sell Fulgor Milano amongst other appliances and I am a big fan of the brand. They used to be an OEM company until the owner decided to start making appliances for themselves. They are a very quality product, you should be happy with them. But unless you have a service tech that works on them it might be hard to find service when you need it.
