If something goes wrong with the Wi-Fi controller on the fridge, will it still work? WHY do I need to remotely control it?

You don't need to control the refrigerator via Wi-Fi, it's just an option. So it should function properly if the wi-fi doesn't work.
I actually got the Bespoke Fridge but I got it in the White glass. I prefer white appliances.

But are the new Samsung Bespoke glass panel fridges good/reliable? I am contemplating buying one...but I recall massive ice maker issues from a 2012 Samsung fridge I had!

Honestly we have no idea. We haven't received Samsung product for a while now so we haven't sold/service Bespoke refrigeration yet.

Mine was delivered on Saturday. I'll report back if I have any problems. Supposedly, the ice maker issues should be fixed since they moved it to the freezer compartment where it should have been all along.

Yes I haven't seen any issues with the Bespoke models. Samsung completely redesigned the evaporator and defrost. The ice maker is no longer in the fridge compartment. Avoid Samsung fridges with the ice maker inside the fridge. Its a flawed design.

I would NEVER buy a Samsung fridge again! Paid around 3G, Ice maker broke within the 1st year, and I'm not alone! Class action lawsuit ensued, and apparently they're replacing a lot of units. Very disappointed in Samsung.
Unrelated but possibly not..i installed a solar powered mini split heat/cool unit last year and i can't believe not many people even know about these? Runs on solar or ac or a combination of both, and you can plug the panels right into the outside unit.. No batteries no charge controller.. For what is worth..😅
