It sound more like Schwedisch to me, but I love the sound of it. I thought it would sound more like German. I myself am Dutch and live in Germany by the way. Mary would not be nice to use quotes and words in your own language on your products!

It has nothing to do with Dutch, by the way. It comes from German. 2 completely different languages. The word Dutch is similar to the word Duits, which means German. Over the years it became a degeneration .

I totally agree about your camera. I am one step behind that one - I have the Power Shot SX40 but love it. Although my iphone has taken over some of my photography, I still love taking photos with my camera the most. I got the one I have after talking to a professional photographer whose photos I admired. He and his wife went to Greece or Ireland or somewhere each year and took thousands of photos for their shows. He was still using the SX40 and showed me a photo that he took in Greece from the mainland in one town to an island off shore. It was taken with the zoom and showed a sailboat on the shore of the island just as clear as day. Beautiful shot. He had taken his whole collection with that camera. If they aren't making the SX50 then pretty sure they aren't making the 40 either but I have no plans to get rid of it. Your photos are beautiful. I live in Alaska and we have some mighty pretty scenery here as well but yours there in Ohio is very gorgeous...

what a beautiful area you live in. Loved hearing you speak your first language. I always enjoy listening to the Amish in our area of Indiana speak to each other, as well. Your photos & videos are always spectacular, just like your projects! I wish you well for your event and hope you share what you end up taking. Would love to see what your booth looks like at the actual event, if you have the time. I've seen your video from previously, but always look for staging inspiration as inventory is always different.

Oh Mary, this video was fabulous. I loved seeing your photos.... what great photos you have! I actually had my husband watching with me ( first time for everything .....). He saw the deer, fox and bears! But had to call him back for the “David Brown” Tractor ( that is his name... PLUS he is a big TRACTOR COLLECTOR... mostly John Deere ) How I would love to come to that Fair and meet you! To to mentioned purchasing a piece of your incredible work! Great video, truly enjoyed it n all the info on super camera’s. Ur photos were wonderful to watch. I get a real kick out of Pepple ur cat. She loves her Moma n being front of the camera... she’s not shy. Also it was nice to hear ur mother language Dutch. It was so soft spoken. Always looking forward to more videos. PS How I miss hearing so many different songs the birds sing. Hear I’m my part of Florida ( central of the state) we don’t get as many birds. Ur regular Mockingbird which imitates other birds, a Cardinal, sparrows n maybe a few others) I just don’t have a lot of wooded areas. Ur homestead is beautiful n peaceful. LOVE IT!!!

That's so interesting. I have the SX50HS. My dad gave it to me last year. I am still working on taking good photos. But I love the camera. One of my favorite things about it is the compact rechargeable battery. It's so easy to charge and have another ready to go.
