    Hello! I am a first year teacher and find your videos so extremely helpful. I do wonder how you work your small group time in during rotation. How many kiddos do you pull and what is your system for that?

    I would pull no more than 6. All needing the same skill work. Honestly sometimes I wouldn’t know what we were doing in small group until the day before or even later. It was very much an assess and teach/reteach system. And I would just pull them from a station they were assigned to or put “teacher time” into the rotation chart. I hope that helps. Maybe I can do a video on how to work that all out. Thanks for the great question.
