Hey does this have a fixed reticle option and if so can you move it around? I had an asus that did that but I recently got an lg monitor that has fixed reticle but you can’t move them around and would love to get this if you can, thanks!

I bought this monitor for my brother so he can use it with his PS5 and he loves it. He plays Fortnite and Borderlands with it and also watches Netflix. It’s perfect for the price. I bought the LG 27GP950-B that also comes with HDMI 2.1 with a 4K 160hz screen but it has no sound so I have to use headphones and it’s more expensive. The M28U is good for anyone looking to get into 4k120hz gaming for a reasonable price.

@@NothingButSkillz it’s a good monitor. I pulled it out of the box and it was ready to go. Good colors with a lot of the same features as the M28U but it cost $899. I highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it but if you have the M28U it will be sufficient for 4k120hz games on PS5. The LG is for people who want a really good color accurate monitor with fast response time.

@@wavy10k literally best purchase I made for my next gen consoles. This monitor is such a joy coming from 1440p ultragear. I ordered a laptop with a 3080, and did anyone mention the usb c port is charge/DisplayPort alt, enjoying it would be a understatement.

BEWARE!!!!!!! When alt tabbing the dsc causes my screen to go blank for a few seconds then normal but shows my display output over the top. Its extremely annoying. In nvidia control panel I had to turn it to either 60hz????? or 120hz.

This monitor is on sell on Amazon.. my question to you is... do the monitor come console ready for ps5 or Xbox x without you having to update to the latest firmware to make it work properly for the console?..

It's not a good idea to put local dimming on. In dark scenes it really dims the screen a lot and small light areas are really dim

Hey I'd really appreciate it if you answered this question. So I heard the bandwidth of the hdmi 2.1 port is only around 25gbps which is like half of what the hdmi 2.1 should deliver. So the PS5 can only output 120hz at chroma/yuv420 colour using chroma subsampling but my question is does it output yuv422 colour at 60hz or is it completely not possible. I've been searching about this everywhere and couldn't find an answer anywhere. If I'm spending that much money on a monitor I want it to give me the best colours possible

Mine is flickering out of the box I don’t understand why... does anyone have any fix for this. Far cry 6 is stuttering/tearing it’s unplayable. The xbox home screen is flickering as well

As long as it has an hdmi 2.1 port it should support VRR for PS5 which is the reason i just purchase this monitor.

These settings suggestion are not ideal makes the image to bright & washes color.

My brother is using the same monitor and uses it on ps5. The internal fps display says its 120hz in 4k mode. But I dont really trust that. Could be 120hz in 1080p but upscaled. The picture is still crystal clear.

Did I mention HDMI 2.1

Asus rog strix blows this out the water and its not 2.1. 120 doesn't mean very much when I can already see the sweat on my a division agents taint

I'm looking for an upgrade for a new monitor with 2.1 but even at $599 it's a bit steep for someone on a fixed income 😭

I returned mine (m28u) because it had problem unfortunately blink black screens and also alt tab was awfull for mine ... like 4-5 seconds to come back on. I will stay for now with my g7 odyssey.

@@lumin10 best purchase I made for my next gen consoles. Coming from a 1440p ultra-gear difference is night and day. Even though my ultra gear had better hdr performance the sharpness and clarity is what really makes this monitor shine. For the price you can’t beat it.
