Best $20 upgrade for a new Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator.
This is the best $20 spent on a new Jeep Wranger or Gladiator in my opinion. Its mind boggling that Jeep decided to use old "whip" style antenna's for the refresh Jeep Wrangers and even the new 2020 Gradiator! This simple $20 upgrade replaces the massive antenna with a "shorty" 13" that receives radio signals just as good without being intrusive.

I've had that antennae for about a year. It doesn't flap around like the factory one, and looks cooler. But it absolutely does NOT work as good as the factory antennae. Not even close. Good luck with your channel.

Thanks for the info on the signal. I noticed on the forums that other people have the same experience in that it DOES lower signal quality, so I will try to note that within the video. I use Spotify a lot and live in the city, so didnt notice anything myself.

A good quality antenna makes a huge difference. Believe me, I tried the “Amazon or EBAY” one... Those cheaply made ones normally suck donkey waffles. I spent the $27 on the extremely well made, metal wound, version and have ZERO problems

I echo your thoughts on this antenna. I bought the same and immediately regretted it, and went back to the Jeep whip antenna.
Loved that transition after throwing the antenna away 😂

Thanks! I actually STILL have the antenna sitting around the garage. After all that, I could not let it go.
Bought that same antenna within the 1st week of ownership. Yes it looked much better, but i sent it back and put back the original. The performance of the antenna was just awful. Normal antenna worked 1000 times better then the aftermarket.

Thank you! I really appreciate this. I became a father at the end of my series and started a full time job, so I didnt have the time to support the series any more. I still have my Blue JL and was thinking about doing a series on the trails up in the Pacific North West. I may record one soon just to see how it goes.

It's you and the energy you brought that was so welcoming I'm sure you could make videos about whatever relevant to you now and that passion would still bring the viewers in.
