@@vicferrari9380 Yea its like having sunburned eyes welding without protection for ten minutes. When they get older they will really pay for it by not being able to see. I have foolishly burned my eyes a couple of times. Not to mention the burn on unprotected skin and the cancer it can cause.

They are wearing sandals, no eye or hearing protection, Safety shields or welding goggles, respirators, only a few wear gloves. There's no fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, or first aid kits to be seen. All the equipment looks run down and unsafe. The human cost is high for a low price product, but we all pay for the pollution, but many of us prefer the cheap price than to buy something made here at home where regulations are enforced. Next time consider this video..

31:16 Grinder cutting wheel has a chunk missing out of it. An unbalanced wheel can explode. No guard on the grinder. No eye protection. Mercenary action everywhere. If the wheel explodes they will just find another sucker to work for them.

@@edborrelli2786 It's not the workers fault. These countries exploit poverty for cheep labor. When companies move there manufacturing over seas, this is why their products can be made cheaper.

Amazing people at work seem a little dangerous in some areas, but they get their product completed with pride. I'll bet many, when they get home, have to wash dishes, babysit, clean the house, and cook dinner. What a life!🤪

I have nothing but respect for these guys. Fabricating with just the bare minimum. I manage a small "Mom & Pop" sheet metal shop most of my equipment is manually operated. When the shit hits the fan and the power goes out, I can still operate at 80% capacity.

I am glad to see they are wearing safety flip flops.and observing all safety precautions. If someone gets injured they just get another one.

I enjoyed these skilled workers and their ingenuity.

Apart from their amazing skills with limited tools, I think the cleverest thing they do is sit comfortably in that squatting position of theirs. I tried it once and broke my kneecaps. 🤕

Respect that these people are employed and using skills to manufacture products that are sold around the world, yes no modern machinery who cares people got jobs

They come a country that poor but they put out some fantastic things a lot of the stuff they make id love to be able to buy frim them . But haven't been able too . 😢

An open pit smelter...talk about dangerous...Those things are known to spit, boil over and explode under certain conditions...I'll just sit here 'n observe, thanks....The footage with these dudes feeding that archaic smelter at 3000 Deg F made me shiver....Jeesus, Mary 'n Joseph....

These men are forced to independently assess the risks and take care of their own safety. It doesn’t always work out, but it’s a necessary measure. We need to feed our family.

I was a trained OSHA Inspector for many years. I audited factories. None of these place would allowed to be open in the USA. No safety equipment at all in these places. Safety glasses, safety shoes, cloths, tripping hazards all over the place. Wow.

What me amazes the most is that safety is not of any issue...
