Great build. Mine wasn't producing at first. Went back and checked and found that my villagers couldn't reach some of their fetching tables. Make sure their attached to the table in front of them. If they can't work, then it won't produce golems.

built this in my survival world and it’s working perfectly! ngl i was nervous lol i built it 40 blocks above an ocean, about 130 blocks or so away from my breeder and followed every step carefully, making sure each and every villager was linked properly. not sure yet how much it’s producing per hour but if i had to guess, i’d say at LEAST 250+. amazing tutorial, thanks so much! will deff be using this design again - bonus points that it’s actually not a major eye sore just floating in the sky, in my opinion at least 😅

Idk if this is the case but wouldnt making the spawn plattform bigger make the irongolems have more place to spawn on so when they try to spawn they succeed more often =more iron?? Or would it take to long for them to die aka missing a spawn attempt

Amazing farm, if yours stops spawning golems, check if they’ve unlinked from their workstation, even if they haven’t just relink them for safety. An extra step could be putting water at their feet as they can’t change/ unlink when they’re in water.

Just built this in my survival world. Works great. Gonna test and see how much I get from one hour of AFK but it appears I’m getting over 300+ an hour which is great. Would stacking another farm on top increase the rates? Or is there a design to make the killing chamber larger to reduce the golems dying by the magma blocks?

Make the hole a four by four, lava in each corner, campfires on every other block (checker pattern) and have a hopper minecart zigzag under the four by four. As for the lava being held up in the center; open trapdoors did well for me, as long as you had buttons on the walls around them and rails below them they never burned.

Hello , shall i know why are you placing stings on leaf blocks?

The reason you need to wait a in game day for it to start working is because a certain % of villagers need to have worked their job block the previous day to make golems. 10 Villagers for 1 Golem, 20 for 2 Golem. I believe the % is 75 but don't quote me. So 15/20 Villagers working their job will make 2 golems.

Made mine of Ps4, worked at first for producing golems but they were spawning on the ground. Moved the Spawner into the air and then it stopped producing golems….?

Just built it on xbox works like a charm

Do you have to build it so high in the air or can it be off the ground as I know some farms work from the ground and some work form in the air if so how how off the ground?

I built one a year or 2 ago and it was only 5-8 blocks off the ground and worked, I think it depends on where the beds and villagers are located rather than how close to the ground

@@QuillyStories5663 yes, to insure that the villagers do not attach to anything, such as beds and Jobs as it will ruin your farm

If you have a farmland block with two blocks of air beneath it you will go right through it when you jump on it. Edit: turns out you just clip through farmland after trampling it.

If you get like 5 or 6 tamed cats around the farm no more will spawn which frees up spawns for golems

they do not have to be fletchers but fletchers are the only ones that work in the rain.

right i need help i have done everything correctly and the iron farm was working but whilst i was afk i came back and it had stopped

If your break it down make sure your villagers loose the trades one by one when I did it some stuck on the trade and when I rebuild it didn’t work so just make sure the villagers loose the trade they can be removed by placing a breaking the job blocks

i sugest going to a ocean and build it about 40-50 blocks above the ocean then 100 blocks or so away from the shore. and ofc away from any village

i've had mine built for about a week now and it still does not produce any iron, i've replaced all the stations twice and that still does not work.

The best thing to do to stop a villager moving just hold a emerald from your hand so you will be fine. I tested it and works:)

Not to be a meat rider, but this is probably the best iron farm there is right now. It is very efficient and very fast along with being very cheap. I love how small it is and the design. In my first 20 minutes of the farm I already had 2 stacks of iron

yes any block that is solid and not transparent, however wood can set fire so bear that in mind

Can someone explain some ways to fix this I built it the right way but it ain't working I built it in creative and it works

If you don’t have lots of string you can make a lightning rod with two copper and place it like 10 blocks away from the farm so if lightning does strike it doesn’t hit the farm

Would you also know why when we break a minecart, we don't get it back? Its the same for boats as well.

Mine works but it didn't work at first since my villager breeder was next to it so I moved it 100+ blocks away and golems started spawning instantly and only took an hour to build then another hour or so for the villagers.

If it’s not working for you try building 130 blocks in the air and it’s working fine for me. The golems where spawning up on the platform with the villagers so I removed the string and replaced it with half slabs. Hopefully this helps
