I loved Bess Motta in the Terminator! I was pretty bummed when her character got killed off. I also loved her 20 minute work out video back in the day. Great interview!!

Great interview, Chris! It was awesome to hear about her experiences as an athlete and actress. The 80's were the best!

My mother would always roll her eyes at me whenever she saw me watching 20 minute workout lol. I never made the connection that The 20 Min workout girl and Ginger Ventura were one in the same.....awesome !! Loved the bit about the "morality clauses".........that's a shame ;) Fantastic interview Mr. Contra, I enjoyed every minute of it. Rock on brother :)

Chris that is awesome how she says she hasn't had but one other podcast in the past ten years and she did an interview with you because she thinks you're a delight. You ask great questions ad redirect y to bring out more details than she thought she even knew. Got to check out the Original Terminator again.Made me flash back to the 80's. Nicely done!

Wow! I remember 20 minute work out, that is a awesome thing to have on you resume but Terminator I'm sure is a life time event, years later she still sounds excited talking about it, not many people can talk about being shot 5 times in the back, She can tell what an amazing person you are, just from talking to you, That says a lot about your Character, excellent interview

This was a favorite interview of mine of the show! Bess is so high energy! I loved all the stories that highlighted what the 80's were like. It's so interesting her take on being a star without social media. How she could walk the streets without being noticed. I agree it was the Law of Attraction that she was destined! Everyone has seen The Terminator. So cool the director changed the scene for her. I'm following her on IG.

Hi Chris! Such a great interview with Bess! I stopped the video to go look at the 20 minute workout and loved it! Videos like this are so awesome! I workout to Bojo Beautiful daily and it is great to think that Bess is one of the pioneers! Interesting to hear that people considered it porn. Funny how the guy didn't want to have coffee before they did their sex scene. haha! Learning all the bts about the terminator was really great! Sounds like James Cameron was a very nice director. The 5 shots to the back scene sounds scary! That answering machine message is so funny! 🌷😊🌺

The aerobics craze of the 80’s was a little before my time because I was knee high to a fire hydrant during those years, but it was fun learn about Bess Motta and hear her story. The way you interact with your guests and make them feel comfortable so that they open up, is very impressive. Excellent job

Man, what a great interview. All those inside facts about Terminator are really interesting. I can't believe she could feel the blanks when he shot her, that was crazy!!!! Bess is an adorable sweetheart. I'd really love to meet her someday. I was a fitness trainer/ fitness club manager in the late 80's; all the women in the club copied Bess. 4 more & 3 more, stretch, bend, straight back, twist, 2 more~
