    The mind disintegrating, soul-numbing harmonic crunchiness of the mid tempo breakdowns still cause me to clean my brains off the ceiling every time I give this track a listen. Job well done, Charles. You've given me yet another spiritual awakening. Thank you for always finding new ways to change our lives for ever. My girlfriend isn't a metalhead at all, but she absolutely loves doing yoga to your music. I sing to your stuff all the time with my own lyrics. You are so inspiring. I strive to be as talented at singer as you are at guitar! You deserve all of the good things coming your way, and they are coming swiftly, in spades.

    incongruous4 not everyone has floating tremolos, guitars like les Paul's don't have a whammy bar its a fixed bridge; strats do have a whammy bar however they only go lower in pitch. A flutter is pulled higher in pitch and let go to get the effect, plus floating tremolos are a bitch to keep in tune and set up for most players. Just some info, sorry to bug.

  • @jmbrook

    @jmbrook

    6 жыл бұрын

    incongruous4 honestly I don't think the "Floyd rose" type of trem fits that body shape well. The usual thicker necks and over all meatier low end tone i thought always works well with the low end chugs in this genre. Thats why i enjoy having multiple guitars, my seven string has a floating trem and I love it, great for those high end solo type leads. And I wasn't criticizing your lack of knowledge of flutters I was just adding that the lack of guitars out there that can even do flutters are far and few between making them even harder to spot and see, I love the way they sound.

    I always pictured a mad scientist and his wife doing illegal experiments. The government/crime syndicate breaks in and lays waste to the lab but not before his wife outs his consciousness in their new android body. They kidnapped his wife and they think they killed him too but he survives. They turn her into a monster which he unbeknownst kills. The solo is his realization that he killed his monster wife and the rest of the song is him getting revenge and destryoing their base.

    Dude, bought your album last night and I can't stop listening to it! This song, Heartless and Why Are You Still Alive are definitely my top three off this beast (although I love them all haha). Congrats on a great release! :)

    Someone made a chart for this song on Clone Hero and while it was super fun, I didn't realize this song had vocals on it cause I always listened to this version. Wow the one with vocals hit me in the feels so hard. The mix of clean singing with the heavy chords in the chorus hit like a ton of bricks. More like that please!

    Glad you like the vocal version too! We have vocal versions of every song, so if you liked that one you might want to check all of em out :)

    Can't wait for the collab with RoS . The last time I was this excited for music was way back when Necrophagist was dropping bombs on us.
