Berner Münster
De kloosterkerk St.Vizenz is het indrukwekkendste laatgotische gebouw van de stad Bern en de grootste, belangrijkste laatmiddeleeuwse kerk in Zwitserland. Vanaf deze hoogste kerktoren van Zwitserland heeft u een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad tot ver in de omgeving van Bern en op de besneeuwde toppen van het Berner Oberland.
De driescheeps basiliek zonder dwarschip torent hoog uit boven de daken van de oude binnenstad van Bern is het grootste religieuze bouwwerk in Zwitserland. In 1421 werd met de bouw gestart en vele generaties bouwers leverden hun bijdrage aan dit meesterwerk. De toren werd pas in 1893 voltooid.

The monastery church of St. Vizenz is the most impressive late Gothic building in the city of Bern and the largest, most important late medieval church in Switzerland.
