I just received my Beretta Pro Trigger Spring Kit for my Beretta 92FS INOX. I had no trouble at all installing the kit after watching your video. Great video! If you have the proper punches and tools etc... and are mechanically inclined somewhat, it is a breeze in my opinion. The spring kit is well worth it and made a huge improvement to my trigger pulls. Much, much smoother and lighter just like I knew it would be. I left the stock trigger return spring in because I like a strong positive reset feel. All other springs were changed to the MCarbo springs. I used the 13lb Hammer Spring. I also went the extra mile and did all the polishing work as well. My SA came out to be 2lb 9.4oz. DA 6lb 13oz on my Lyman gauge. Thank you for a great product and video!

I've watched several hundred videos on KZread one where there are aspects of gun maintenance or modifications. This is by far the best one I've seen. The lighting actually let us see the inside of the gun which is always been dark in many of the other videos,, plus the little gotcha's with flying springs and a variety of other things like that that just make it work so well. Pretty good job of focusing too with only a couple of glitches. The only thing that I would have asked was as you were working with the safety on the frame, describe at that point time how to do a "G" modification. That seems to be one of the big things most people do. All in all, I'll be sending this to my friends.

I took my 92x apart and found that the little channel at the bottom of the hammer that houses the hammer spring strut was very crudely milled and not deburred afterwards before installation. This caused the spring strut to grind against the edges of the channel at the final 10% of DA trigger pull. Very bad chewy feeling. I took a diamond feather file to the inside of the channel and chamfered the edges and that improved everything much more than polishing sear surfaces did. Not sure if it's just the 92x that had that problem or if mine was just worse than most, but I'm glad I discovered that because the trigger is like glass now.

This is the best video on disassembly, polishing components and assembly of the Beretta 92 period. It has changed my next gun purchase decision and saved me money. As soon as I can obtain a 92x Centurion, I will tailor the trigger to the exact weight I desire myself. No need to order an expensive gun from a place where I pay a lot for a trigger job. I will also add two mandatory upgrades, in my opinion, the LandonTactical Optimized Trigger Bar and the Beretta Match, or Elite hammer. The Trigger bar transforms reset and over travel; it is amazing. The Match hammer will reduce SA pretravel to 2mm while the Elite hammer gives faster hammer travel for more reliability but does not affect pretravel. I have installed in my other 92 and could not believe the results. Your upgrade along with the two additional parts will amaze.

Hey, thanks for this video. Gave me the confidence to do my own trigger job. Went from a 12lb pull down to a 7lb pull and it's smooth a silk. Only mishap was that I shot my original trigger return spring across the shop. Thankfully it wasn't the new one. And the only trouble I had was fitting in the new sear spring. I had to use the end of a wooden Q-tip to press the coil down far enough to get the pin through. Took a while but well worth the effort.

I've been trying to get an Langdon Tactical Trigger Job in a Bag but, like everything firearms related, they're out of stock everywhere. They say it's 95% of the trigger job and this seems like it's the remaining 5%. The only thing lacking is the modified trigger bar Langdon provides. Good job on this and thanks for providing the info in such a detailed manner!

The trigger return spring was a pain for reinstalling. The spring kept leaking through the trigger hole at the bottom. I just kept trying until the spring didnt stick through the bottom trigger hole and laid on to of it. But what worked was pushing the pin in from the left side, using the punch to line up spring from the top while stilling pushing the pin on the left, then the pin gets stuck halfway through the spring, so I pulled the trigger a few times while pushing the pin and IT WENT IN. Then for reinstalling trigger bar, I used needlenose pliers to shape a safety pin to look like a mini hook. I used the hook to pull up on the trigger return spring, while extending the trigger to make it easier, then slip the pin of the trigger bar from the right in, raise the trigger return spring over the pin and then finish by pushing the rest of the pin in

Great video, excellent and super explanation. I didn't understand, why do I need to replace the firing pin spring in order to reduce the trigger pull ?

Fantastic video and very thorough with great close ups of some of the more tricky spots like the safety assembly! Any light primer strikes with 12# hammer spring? I think it shouldn't be a problem with factory new domestic ammo (non-NATO), but these days with ammo very expensive and sometimes hard to find, you may need to practice with foreign ammo with harder primers or forgo training at times. I'm putting in a 12# hammer in mine to give it a try with Blazer Brass 124 FMJ and SIG 124 JHP, but as a backup, I'm going to make sure I have a 14# and the original as backup for future proofing. Only thing this video is missing is optionally replacing the mag release with an oversized one, optionally converting it to a g decocker, and optionally removing the take down level and button which isn't that hard, but you may want to know how to do that too. For me, this will be my go to video for all 92 spring replacements.

Just FYI...I purchased your full spring kit and bench block and not other guys/companies for one reason. This video! Done super well, great details, great tips, really good footage. I'm still debating if I'm going to polish the sear/hammer areas or run it and let it work in... Tyvm

Update: I don't have a trigger tester, but I just finished this entire build just like the video. The polishing was easy, and my what a difference it all makes!! Literally a whole new system, amazed at the difference. 1st pull in SA literally took me by surprise it was so insanely smooth and light. Also I'll add: I installed a WC "short trigger" (looks about a 3/16" difference) and a beretta skeleton hammer and a SS guide rod (but coated black) I can't wait to go out to my range and really sink my teeth into it

Wow, great lighting, the best I've seen so far. (People video recording black guns and camera exposure is off, can't see what's going on.) 34:00 so didn't you want to replace the composite trigger with metal? 51:54 which spring did you replace it with? 12#? how would that compare to the D spring? You make it look so easy!
