I wish the Philippine Senate and House of Representatives could be this childish, lively and entertaining instead Well, they suck and are stupid corrupt politicians with self-serving interests. At least, they must act like the clowns that they are to compensate for all the tax money we pay them.

I'm not only baffled at how this is actually happening in real life, but also the impressive speed of his wit as he's able to talk over a jeering crowd without missing a single beat.

People complain they're acting like children, what they don't understand is that this is an institution. This is how Parliament has been run since establishment, it's engrained into a culture rich in history. Do you think these bright minds don't realise how they may appear? It's culture, it's authoritative and it's beautiful.

And the circus goes on... and on... and on... I love this Comedy Channel, but not sure why some call it British Parliament.

Bercow went way beyond his remit by insulting and denigrating MP’s on the Tory benches at the drop of a hat! He lost his temper car too many times and hence he lost credibility as a political umpire who could cool passions. Indeed, by his constant loud interruptions he inflamed passions!

The job of the speaker is very hard i'm sure, considering how much stress he must take on himself, i agree he didn't look good, but he stood up for both sides, or he was the line between them if you may call it. Is this really how government there works? The way they all just interrupt and booing when a superior is speaking is absolutely rediculous, they behave worse than a Kindergarden, like "literally", not even students act that way where I come from, what is that!?

gotta love when they say you cant talk to my friend like that. GET OUT of my hearing. then turns and allows it and does it himself to the opposition. we need to hold EVERY official to the HIGHEST of standards.

Don't take this as absolute truth but I believe it has always been thus for 'Question Time' since waaay back when. The opposition are fully expected to baah like sheep as, of course, they get no other daily recourse to register their views with government policy, with representatives who operate from different offices. It is far more entertaining than the tedious US system of "I yield to the gentleman from Texas.", "I concede 2 minutes to the gentleman from Odiddlyidaho,", or "I reserve my time"... but not so entertaining as to match those parliaments where fisticuffs twixt opposing parties breaks out. It's a very British kind of middle ground. Just lacks more tea.
