Benny Greb gives away a secret (the Floor Tom Air Trick)

I often get asked about this effect i use to change the pitch of my Floor Tom during my Solo.
In Canada at the Ralph Angelilo International DrumFestival, the camera caught my answer to it. I also explain other ways how to change the pitch of drums to create different sounds on the Drumset. Enjoy!

Easier way is to buy a 4-5 foot length of tube from the hardware store, insert into floor tom vent hole, place other end in mouth. Then you can use two hands to play and add air into drum, thus raising the pitch. Maybe I'll make a video on it sometime.
