Thanks. Getting my first pcp Delivered this Friday. I’m usually AR and AK guy but thought I’d give this Air rifle stuff a try and save some money on ammo and time. I’m getting the Walther Reign bullpup in .22 Found your video very informative, thank you. I wasn’t sure if I want to switch the charging handle to the left side but if I have to break this thing in half to do that . So polishing the barrel will make it worth my time doing both. Or if I don’t have to polish and I’m lucky at least I’ll know I don’t have a barrel problem. Who am I kidding ! All gun people like to tinker with their toys we can’t help it.

Thanks mate, the Benjamin has really surprised us, we though there was no way we could get away without re-barreling the rifle and doing a bunch of re machining, but as of now we have done very little in terms of specialist work and its transformed the rifle, shoved a reg in and give the barrel a ruddy good polish and getting a sub 6mm c2c group at 50 yards, more work to come. I am absolutely amazed at your skill in gun engineering and the fantastic results you have achieved with this rifle. So impressed I have subscribed thanks so much.

Its just cost, this rifle cost less than £600 new, and to check every rifle at a range and tune them to make them good would take too much time/ money, the thing is they work on volume some will be useless and some will be fantastic, we had one in the club that straight out the box was phenomenal, its just how lucky you are. if you go slow and steady you should be fine, if the lead is a little sharp start there, the pellet should feed in with a bit of resistance but no real force, chokes are funny things and pellet choice can make a huge difference, if it feels excessively tight you could benefit from taking some material out of it.
