I used to play a ton of benham+friesland div, and the amount of people surprised at the walls of skill coming from what they supposed was a torpedoless friesland banging away is just hilarious. These days I mostly do Yamagiri as the preferred torpedo boat. The 300m spotting range difference and the extra ooomph from your torpedoes hit to a DD when contesting caps either kills it with a devstrike or leaves it an easy prey to your deadly HE alpha, nevermind with the funny button on. Of course, yamagiri is way clumsier than benham, so you tend to receive more damage when spotted, but it's just the way it is.

I too love playing my Ben, but I have to say I equally love playing my yamagiri on gun build with that reload booster and low detection and sometimes using those 18 deadly torps, she is a very good ship.....

I like highlighting FOMO by design like this, the best ships you can't get... right now, but don't worry you will be able to part with your money in the future when WeGreedy will no doubt have an event facilitating said exchange of funds for rented pixels ;)

Love the Benham... one of my most played ships... so much fun!

The Wujing was definitely playing Poketorpedoes.

I agree about Benham but not about Kitakami. I have had only one bad game in the latter and it was because the CV was on my head constantly and I had split from my team. I got spotted by planes in some of the other games and it was not too bad since I was near some teammates. The deepwater torps slap hard and the normal ones are so fast, it is next to impossible to miss with them. It is not a great ship, but for me it is not bad either.

One of the things I hate about WoWs, some people have boats that the rest of us can't get. Total BS. You should at least be able to buy them.

Most of them are removed cause how broken they are and popular like lenin, Georgia, thunderer etc so apparently it's impossible to attain them

@@miles3380 You can still get some of those ships in crates.. if can you ever actually get a ship in a crate anymore... I used to get a free ship about once every 3 to 4 months... I haven't gotten one in the last year and a half at the least.

Usually they show up again every few years for a limited time. They wait until there is a fever pitch to get them, and then create an event for them.

Don't worry guys, this is by design. Fish like you who bite at each FOMO opportunity of 'better ships' is exactly the thing WeGreedy hopes drives you into spending money to obtain said pixels. Not saying they aren't better ships btw, just that's it is by design to get you to pay money. I'm guilty of it to, even more so as I had advanced 'warning' of which ships were insta buys 'quick before they find out' being a supertester for quite some time. 'You should at least be able to buy them' -> fish like you is the thing WeGreedy has wet dreams about ;)

only in a crate... it was a mission ship in the first place.... you had to grind for it. I got mine when the PR first came out.. I was able to run combined missions until I got the Benham... and that original PR grind was an absolute BITCH.. the hardest grind they've ever had.
