Chris you were the only guy I have ever heard say Arnold wasn't a top 5 corner in this draft. It was 50/50 split down the middle between him and Mitchell when it came to a lot of draft gurus.

and its not what teams were between 24 and 29 - it was who would trade back into the 1st and take him. Remember last year they were salivating at Devon Witherspoon at 6 until Seattle jumped them - then they traded back to 12.

But we now know that their ability to gain separation, along with their hands, is more important. But a CB needs to be able to get back into position if that receiver gains separation, and for that they need speed. It is still overrated, but it does matter some for CBs.

Kris Jenkins was the 2nd best run defending DT in the Country last year and was good at it in 2022 as well. So he is ascending. That nose tackle Jackson that they got he was the 2nd best NT prospect in the draft and they got him At the end of round 3. After Sweat it was Jackson. Is psyched about Jackson I think he is a really good player. RAS is not a big deal for nose tackles. They ALL have a low RAS. For instance DJ Readers RAS coming out of Clemson was 2.01. McKinley Jackson’s RAS is 4.98. That incredible for a NT. That’s almost as good as Dexter Lawrence who is the most athletic NT ever. Oh and I wish they had gotten Cade Stover the TE from Ohio State but Erik All and McLaughlin have the potential to be our future TE1. So disappointed we passed On Stover and Beaux Limmer But I like the guys they got. Oh and I LOVE Cedric Johnson. He will provide some immediate juice off the edge. I think they will have e to carry 6 DEs this year or Cam Sample will Maybe have to go to the practice squad. I would trade him because he is a good player but I’d rather keep him. Ossai is t going anywhere. He is primed To have a huge year.

My 3 favorite picks of the Lions are there last 2. Both 6th round picks. Mekhi Wingo is a baller at DT and Christian Mahogany is a starting offensive guard from day 1 if you want. He will takes some lumps but after 10 Games of starting he will Start playing better. So they got a day one starter at Guard with their last pick. Wingo is 6’1’’ 295 lbs. which is the perfect size for an3 tech Defensive tackle. Terrion Arnold will be a Pro Bowl nickel CB. I agree with Chris that he doesn’t have the speed to play outside CB in the NFL.

The Bengals had a good draft. Now I would have taken Javon Baker the WR from UCF before Burton but the Bengals really love and believe in Burton. I trust them especially when it comes to WR’s. Name The last WR bust the Bengals Drafted. You would have to go back to over 20 Years ago. Amarius Mims is not a bust. He is a future super star. You know in 1980 people We’re all irate that the Bengals drafted Anthony Munoz out Of USC because he was hurt a lot in College and only played 12 games. Yea how did that work out for the Bengals? Mims just needs reps. He will get some This year but even more Importantly he gets to sit behind Trent Brown this year and learn how to be a pro tackle. Trent Brown and Orlando Brown are both huge humans. So is Mims. And I don’t Know if you have seen Mims up close but he carry’s 0 pounds of Bad weight. The dudes body fat is around 10%. He is fucking jacked!! No bad weight at all! And I think they should have drafted that center out Of Arkansas Beaux Limmer but Matt Lee was my next choice. He is extremlu athletic. 9.48 RAS for Lee. Mims RAS is 9.53. But when you are his size you don’t even have to be a good athlete. Just ask Orlando Brown and Trent Brown. They win with size power and technique. Mims had size power is learning technique And he has athleticism. He will be a Pro Bowler or All Pro in the next 3 years. And I also wish they would have gotten one of The CB’s from Auburn but I like Josh Newton too and he was just drafted for depth.

None of this matters until we see it on the field. Take what the Falcons did and how dumb most people think it was to take Penix. Now imagine Atlanta going on a long playoff run with Penix replacing a injured Cousins and now that pick looks awesome. It's all a crapshoot. A game of inches you might say😂

I'm literally only listening because it's lions talk in May. Simms is NOT a football smart guy, he is a BSer and loves his own voice. He talks like he is a GM, it's funny.

F for the Bengals?😂😂😂😂😂😂. NOBODY else has it worse than a B. That's obviously somebody sitting in his basement hoping Bengal haters subscribe. Why don't I ask my 11 yo grandson? 😂😂😂

Mims played 8 games in 3 years. Check out Nick Saban's comments about Mims. Injury prone & no heart. Will be a bust. Needed two picks, 2 & 4 to replace D J Reader. Pick #3 Burton, has " maturity issues", punched a woman. Pick #4 a TE who had major back surgery. Set out a year. Returned in 2023 only to tear his ACL in October. Will not be healthy to play until ? Did not address the Guard position where Cordell has been a sieve & the backups even worse. "Need to coach them up & Drafting for the future". Bengals Super Bowl window is now closed
