@bobjones7776

@@Meilk27 The most difficult is the initial bend which needs strength, once its bent, you need to make sure not to lose the 'hunker down' on it, once its in front of you rather than under you, you have a lot less muscle pressing on it and cant press that weight together any further that's why people got stuck. If you can bend it you should be able to press it but its a spring so it wants to swing around and shit.
@JoeARedHawk275
10 ай бұрын
@@bobjones7776 Thats not true. Look at the second guy or third guy or any other person who wasn’t able to fully close it. He was able to initially bend it but not close it. I would imagine the more it’s bent, the more force is required since it’s trying to return to its original position. You’re forgetting that this is not a super rigid material like a pencil is. Your statement holds true for pencils and even regular metal bars. However, whatever that bars made of, returns to its original position after force is no longer applied. A pencil or regular bar stays deformed. I imagine the effort required (maybe not force) is sinusoidal, where it’s initially hard to bend, gets easier, and then the finally stretch is hardest.

Looking at his body he obviously has a lot of muscle. I knew he would get it immediately.
The company I worked for made these types of chest bars. The springs were made of 1/4" oil tempered wire. We had a machine that forced the tube ends into the spring. We also made some larger than usual (overall length) with 5/16" oil tempered wire, and the entire bar was chrome plated. They were made larger because they were used as advertisement showing a bodybuilder bending one. I have one of the chrome ones at home and every once in a while I take it out and bend it 10 or 12 times. You can really feel it in your chest when you do reps. Glad I came across this video.
The way the first buff guy was standing there was like an epic showdown...even though he lost lol
Just goes to show, that once again, no matter how strong you are, agile you are, resilient you are, there is ALWAYS an Asian out there who can do it better then you. Bravo Sir
