I would like to speak to Ben myself. I think that, probably unintentionally, almost all of the nuance has been left on the table, and that what is left is a produced work that lacks guard rails of any kind, which should be required as due diligence and duty to responsible journalism. I would gladly state my case and provide what I hope will be essential perspective. I know that many people think they possess some special truth, but I am very confident that I have had the relevant experiences and conversations necessary in order to supply crucial context. I've been waiting for a very long time to have a voice, and it would be nice to get lucky, in such times as these, when so many rights and lives are at stake.

It would of been nice if you could of remained objective but instead you decided to nit-pick the more bizzare and unsettling parts of the manifesto to present in a way to paint the group as insane. A lot of that manifesto made sense but you gloss over those aspects and dont even entertain the thought of it being true or why that may be a thing. Do better.

We have the most difficult debate in society about trans people in general because they are now destigmatized, the changes in the DSM 5 and ICD 10 and 11 etc. But at the same time, the internet is full of really strange people latching onto this group because it’s seen as a sort of “anything goes” ticket. Newsflash: The documentary showed us everything we needed to see, thanks. Another reason why I have to defend the 🏳️‍🌈 as a gay man against a shocked public who hasn’t figured it out yet so thank you but I think we can do without your insight.
