@@danoco6385 That's because Hasan isn't a debater. Debating is a skill, like any other, acquired by studying and perfecting. Any person, no matter how clever, honest and knowledgeable they may be, would have trouble talking to someone with those developed skills. Why do you think Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder like to set up booths in public places instead of looking for specialists, when they're looking to own people? Because unprepared people are easy prey and great for clout. Hasan is a commentator. Expecting him to enter a debate with a prepared person would be like expecting some blue collar worker who barely finished high school to debate Hasan.

As for the Nazi statues yeah I think he would want them removed because they would be symbols of genocidal lunatics. Sure bens god is also a genocidal lunatic but the Nazis did not get Bens gods ok to do so. But ben makes me a black man want some Nazi statues setup only to tell people like ben to shut up like he tells black people to shut up. Like lets have a massive golden statue of Hitler put right in front of bens house and have his taxes go into maintaining it. the thing about most people debating "free speech", or maybe not the people debating but often the people listening, is the complete misunderstanding of what "free speech" refers to. people like Ben always throw out free speech when there's a negative response to the things they say, when they don't realize that "free speech" in its essence is not being censored...... BY THE GOVERNMENT. I'm not arguing for Ben in any way, I'm just pointing out something that really bothers me anytime Ben and other popular right (and even left) wing people say. it was huge when Trump got kicked off Twitter, people saying they couldn't silence him, when in fact it's a private corporation kicking someone out who didn't follow their rules. those rules, of course, can't bypass what the gov't says, like making murder legal in a private establishment, but conservative/right-wing people, at the core of their beliefs, want the gov't out of their business. well, this is the gov't out of their business. it's the same when anti-maskers went into stores and demanded to be served, claiming their rights were being oppressed. no, they're not, because this is a PRIVATE ESTABLISHMENT THAT CAN MAKE THEIR OWN RULES ON TOP OF THOSE PUT OUT BY THE GOV'T. if a restaurant required people to not wear masks in order to be served, they'd praise it and say "oh look at this place, it's such a good representation of our values". yeah, because they agree with you, because it's not opposing gov't rules. if you want the gov't out of your business so badly, stop cheering on people who push for gov't intervention. the push for an abortion ban is the exact same thing to me. conservatism as a concept does not jive with gov't intervention, and yet we see them push for it every day.

Like with the Don’t Say Gay law, where we just want it to be ok for teachers to say they’re gay or trans to their students, while conservatives insist we want to teach children about gay sex so we can trick them into having sex. They're there to have their own ideas spoon-fed back to them in a far more articulate way than they could manage. Having someone stand up and challenge those ideas is essentially the opposing team scoring a goal to them. So they boo and jeer. i hope that kid gets the goddamn respect he deserves. Herd mentality is a terrifying thing, when a group of likeminded people are together, no matter what they believe in it will be the "correct" opinion

To give a overly simplified comparison: the Jewish people and black Americans were both oppressed in somewhat similar ways. Both resulted in wars being fought. The ultimate difference is that the Jewish people were given their own country and BIllions, if not trillions, in funding to Israel. Black Americans were EVENTUALLY allowed to sit anywhere on a bus and use more water fountains.

Ben Shapiro is such a chad debater he apparently has to get people to boot the person he is debating from the room before making his final point.... "final point"....

That Andrew Neil interview is the best thing ever. Sam Seder also played it on his show and I laughed out loud. Do yourself a favor - watch the entire interview. It's hilarious 😂.

I think that guy left after being removed from the mic and it looks like that's why Ben got kind of silent for a moment before another guy chimed in and that just makes the whole thing for me because after all that, the last point Ben wanted to make won't even be HEARD by the guy he was debating- so even though he's TRYING to get the last word in, the whole thing has already ended.

I love this guy! It's so satisfying to see someone lead Shabibo around by the nose in front of an audience. This dude needs more recognition. Hasan, bring him on!
