Ben Shapiro is against Juneteenth because...?

Ben Shapiro thinks Juneteenth is the left over reaching and asking for too much. When in reality it's just a performative measure and a lack of reparations.

Benjamin acting like racism is over just because "racism is illegal" is the exact reason why everyone should know about Juneteenth because it is literally a prime example of how just because something is illegal doesn't mean that it has been magically expunged from existence.

Benny Boy is hilarious when he says "There are no laws that are out right racist so racism doesn't exist". When The Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, were signed into law segregation still persisted. When the Fair Housing Act was signed into law, discrimination still occurred. Hell, even after slavery was abolished with the passing of the 13th A, there were still slaves for years afterwards, which is the entire point of Juneteenth. Suffice to say, making crime illegal doesn't get rid of crime. You can make things legal or illegal, shitty people are still going to find a way to be shitty racists. He is either naive or dishonest with his views on the matter. When there are laws being passed that prohibit you from giving water or food to people waiting in line to vote, sure, it doesn't specify a race or anything. However, ask yourself, what demographic is having to wait in a line long enough to even require water or food?

@@2xenos1 The major difference here is simple. Random dude found on Twitter making a comment isn't the same as Ben Shapiro who has a media company that pushes agenda, plus the fact that Republicans in Congress voted against Juneteenth becoming a holiday. That's only a handful of people, but those same people are voted in by their constituents, which gives the impression that those people feel the same, or at least aren't opposed to voting against Juneteenth. People are dunking on Republicans because people in power and "high influence" people in their circles have this idea, and if the people who gave them support disagreed, they should in theory lose their influence.

I just want to reiterate that the reason Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery in TEXAS is because a lot of slaveowners moved their slaves to Texas to prevent them from hearing the announcement of emancipation, or running away, or being discovered by the Union Army. Juneteenth is the day even those people were freed because someone hiked out to their enslavers and forced them to give up the game. Juneteenth does not celebrate America joyfully deciding to end slavery. It's the day the last enslaved people were pried out of their owner's reactionary-ass hands, lol.

@@AIPTutorials America is indeed TOO free. The more freedom an individual has the more likely they are to choose the bad, the larger the following the bad individuals have; the more the bad remain relevant and numerous. As humans we are very attracted to those bad thing but not publicly..... so lets keep those bad things private and the general good a goal to be driven towards in the social atmosphere instead of the other way around. The amount of freedom we have has allowed us to shift the standard of morality for our personal benefits. “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” I believe we are in the good times and we have a surplus of weak men and women making too many important decisions in this government.

The holiday is more performative, and an out for the liberal party to hide that they aren't doing much to stop the ongoing oppression of black people.

Jim Crow was more so tolerated racism. I think Jim Crow should be taught around the world cause it's a great example of why it's not important what a law says but rather what a law enables. During the Jim Crow era there were no racist laws but the laws didn't prevent politicians from enacting racist policies and from people twisting the law and abusing their power over blacks. Jim Crow is very interesting from a legal perspective cause it said that blacks have the right to vote and are equal to whites yet the results were so drastically different.

My school was a Republican Indoctrination Center, and from that I seen Republicans attacking colleges where they have no control over what is taught Republicans want ignorant adults that think Republican Talking Points are facts...
