THE NEW FAKE CONSERVATIVE OUTRAGE- CRITICAL RACE THEORY

Fox News and Conservatives has been working on the Conservative Outrage Machine for decades and it continues to work today. Critical Race Theory has been mentioned by conservatives on fox news over 1300 times in the past 4 months. Now a school board meeting in Virginia erupted in chaos.

@@Jonmad17 It's neither anti nor pro-marxism? Marxism can incorporate race or not. That's one of the differences between intersectional marxists and class-reductionist marxists. Critical race theory probably uses some form of analysis developed on the base of marxist theory (historical materialism). That happens a lot in social sciences, simply because the material view on society was pioneered by him, while other attempts at building a theoretical framework to think about society were too idealist in nature (idealist=concerned with abstract ideas). Using some form of material analysis does not imply you subscribe to marxism. BTW, similar material analysis is a fundamental part of a lot of anarchist theory. Finally, historically, socialists of all kinds have always been anti-racists as a general rule.

I grew up with stereotypical white Christian conservative parents. While they hated the idea of me “educating” them, they did respond to facts and democratic view points in light of some tough discussions we had. Being gay as their son had this huge effect on them too. While they’ve never admitted their past ways were old fashioned and harmful to themselves and others, over time they’ve come to terms with and been opened minded to critical race theory & other ‘liberal agendas.’ If they’ve had a bad day they can code switch back to conservative roots & teachings but pretty regularly maintain an open mind. It’s possible to change people’s fundamental beliefs, I think. It just takes time and facts, as well as an open and safe space for them to adjust to new information 🤷🏻‍♂️

But it's very important to protect that. Though one thing that complicates it with Germany in this case is that the modern welfare state was created by Bismark. The modern public school system used by America and most western countries was copied from the German system and the core welfare programs were also implimented by Bismark. The centralized welfare state is a core part of the German identity and the main thing that set Germany apart from many other countries that had more decentralized welfare and services. It would be very ironic for a German 'nationalist' to advocate for the abolishment of public schools. When public schools were the single most important thing Germany was associated with during the late 19th century. Far more than everything else, many were against it especially Russia but also many Americans. That the state would give an education to ALL people and also indoctrinate them with national identity and give them opportunities. Though it payed off massively since by the turn of the 20th century Germany had more patents than Russia, France and Britain had combined and the international language of science was German which didn't change until the 1950's. Germany also was known for having the most refined and industrious workers in the world and the label "made in Germany" still is associated with some of the highest quality anywhere in the world. For Germany the centralized welfare state and education system were the main reasons for it's success and pretty much the core of it's identity. This centralized control was taken to the ultimate by the Nazi's.

  • @MrMarinus18

But you can't call yourself a German nationalist while opposing public education. That is THE thing that made Germany and what everyone associated with it for a very long time. @@coletrain546 there are quite a few conservative talking points that are just recycled Nazi propaganda. Like Cultural Marxism: the idea that communists/socialists/liberals (because all three of those words mean basically the same thing...) are infiltrating our schools to brainwash our youth with ideologies that will lead to the downfall of our great society. In Nazi Germany the term was called Cultural Bolshevism. They claimed that communists (and you can guess who else) were infiltrating their schools to indoctrinate children which was going to inevitably lead to the downfall of the great German society. The main difference of course is that it worked back then to promote anti-intellectualism which helped keep the population ignorant and complicit, which is totally different from what’s happening today... right? Right?!?

Not only did the veils blow off but it was emboldened. Obama being president was infuriating for them, then Donald gave them an outlet and allowed them to coalesce and spread like a disease in this country. Sprinkle some Fox propaganda for constant rage to keep them in fear and upset over nothing. They're going to write textbooks on this.

It's just, now they are in your face and you can't avoid the nasty festering rot as you once could by simply closing your eyes... or squinting... or.... looking away. They just jump right back into your face loud and proud and as well groomed as a mushroom, fed a lot of shit and kept in the dark.
