What is the meaning of your name?

My sister died about 2 weeks after this album came out aged 28.(2014) The whole album took a new meaning to me.Its like I looked to relate all the lyrics to my situation. Tonight is the first time in four years I have returned to these songs.Possibly with a slightly clearer mindset but the memories of the time are stuck forever. ✌🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ***My dear mother has suddenly passed away 16/11/19. I’ve lost both my mother and sister.My immediate family are gone aged 38. The World stops for no man.💔 **2023 edit, my wife and I were pregnant through Christmas 2022, our first scan in 2023 didn’t go well, we had all tests available and unfortunately chose to terminate due to medical complications. We did not realise at 14wks my wife would have to actually give birth. Horrific experience. Our first child wasn’t to be. I wasn’t going to add this to the thread but maybe some reading will realise that their current situation isn’t that bad after all , life is what it is, we’re just passing through. Todays another day. Life ✌🏻

How did 7 years go by so fast and the world turn mad......I remember flying over to Birmingham to see Ben Howard from Ireland, it was a real show where I was glad the only tickets I could get was in the stands at the side with my now wife, first concert I could just sit back relax and drift away with this criminally underrated artist's incredible music, his guitar playing is extraordinary, minimalistic and complex with the layers for him from that amazing band, I always said U2's Popmart was the best concert (not a fan so much except their class 90's stuff when they had a pair), I was 14 or so at Popmart, long time, Ben Howard always surprises me with new music, incredible artist.

I can't seem to stop listening to this song it's out of this world. Love it so much 🤪👍🏻🤯

I missed his concert at Optimus Alive by an hour because of stupid traffic, I was so sad :( And they didn't even show it on tv like they did with some of the other concerts of the festival. It would be a dream come true if they come to Portugal again for their own concert or at least for another festival.. I'm glad he has so many Portuguese fans :)

Quality music with meaning, through and through!

I'm from Buenos Aires and a Slovakian girl introduce me to Ben's music while we were working in Mexico. A few weeks later i came across this version. It is really something else. A song that's haunting and strangely beautiful ,brings so many different feelings at once. This is why we are here; to find things that somehow show us who we are through other's mental landscape. I finally got the chance of seeing him earlier on this year and he just blew me away. The whole atmosphere is electrifying and emotional. I've never felt a stronger connection between an artist and the crowd before, I felt like my soul had just lifted. I hope one day you get to see him live, I honestly can't recommend him highly enough.
