Does it sound like a belt or pulley is squeaking when you first start up your Titan, Armada, Pathfinder or QX56? The fix could be as simple as replacing the serpentine belt!

Tools Required:
1/2" Drive ratchet or breaker bar
14mm socket
6mm Allen wrench (or similarly-sized small cylindrical object to hold the tensioner pulley in place).

Never felt so calm watching a car maintenance video lol. Thanks for the video. Didn’t know you can put an Allen key in to hold the tensioner in place. That’s slick.

Haha, I use a condenser mic to record the voiceovers, and a side effect of that is an ASMR effect 🤷🏼♂️ Glad to be able to help!

Great video - thank you very much! I will add that on the QX56, it helps a lot to remove the battery and the plastic tray it sits in - quick and easy to remove and provides better access to route the belt.

Thanks! That bull bar was already installed when I bought the truck, so I don’t know where it came from.
What kind of noise was it making? Humming or squealing?

It was a squealing sound.

You’re welcome! Wow, that’s a lot for such a simple job! I wonder they’re charging for an hour of labor, even though it only takes a few minutes.
