*I got a question recently about the LGBTQ+ community at Belmont. From what I've seen, the professors and definitely other students are very open and accepting of any way of life. The community may not be as big, obviously, here as it would be in a larger school but you definitely won't feel isolated!

Makayla Joy, it may not be ideal, but I personally don’t mind the MTA buses, and it will definitely get you everywhere you need to go in downtown Nashville. Uber/Lyft are also great options, or using a scooter like Byrd, which are all over downtown. But like she said, basically everything in downtown Nashville is within walking distance.

If some people are a little confused about convocations, its kind of Belmont’s way of making sure that students are involved in the school. Basically any school led event will count towards your convos.

i got accepted into belmont's school of nursing as a freshman. I am still looking into Auburn and Clemson, but I was extremely impressed with the campus tour and I even met the dean of nursing just on the tour! I got to talk to her one on one which is a huge deal - neither of my parents ever met the deans of their department in their 4 years at Clemson. I was walked through labs and classrooms even during the current state of the world. I loved the campus and the over all vibe. They also automatically assume you want scholarships without having to apply for them which makes the process a lot simpler. I really loved the school and there is a very good chance that I will end up there!

I'm applying to transfer. I was studying asian studies at Kennesaw State in Georgia. I had to move because unfortunate circumstances and I'm an hour away from Belmont now and they have the same degree in Asian studies that I was taking at KSU. So that's why I'm considering the transfer. Plus I'm a saxophone player and love music so if I could do marching band for Vanderbilt (I read somewhere Belmont students play in Vanderbilt's Marching band), and also playing in a concert band would be great.

    1. The bad news. we are sinners. (Romans 3:23.) We deserve to be punished in hell for our sins. 2. The good news. Jesus Christ who is Gods son died on the cross for all your sins. He was buried & rose again to give you eternal life as a free gift. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Romans 6:23.) 3. How am I saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31) 4. Once saved, always saved. Jesus said in John 6:47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
