Bells, Coffee, and Cells: Savoring Our Continuation | Br. Pham Hanh
At Plum Village, Brother Pham Hanh offers a thoughtful Dharma talk on December 14, 2023. Using relatable stories and personal anecdotes he explores how we can find joy and refuge in tough times. Brother Pham Hanh leads us on a path from witnessing the constant renewal of our body's cells to walking with care in the midst of conflict in Israel-Palestine. He illustrates how the simple act of walking can help us understand 'interbeing'-to experience ourselves as multiple streams -and to truly 'arrive' in the present moment. Paying homage to his Dutch heritage, he shares the phrase "He, He," encouraging us to engage our whole body and feelings in the experience of fully appreciating the present moment, much like savoring a well-deserved cup of coffee after hard work.
