What a fitting end for Rumple and Belle. Seeing them live their life, watching their son grow up, and finding happiness just being in each other’s company just warms the heart. Not to mention the nice loving homage to the Disney/Pixar film “Up”, with the added melody of “Beauty and the Beast” during their dance. I can say without hesitation that “Beauty” has become one of my absolute favorite episodes of “Once”. :)

Once upon a time, there was a beast who took a girl prisoner. But he fell in love with her. And then he let her go. That is when the girl realized that she loved him, too.

Yes they made them Carl and Ellie which fits so much! My favorite fairytale couple is my favorite Disney couple then they took my favorite Disney couple and turned them into my favorite OUAT couple and then turned them into my (tied for) favorite Pixar couple 😍😍😍😍

WAIT...is this whole scene with Belle and Rumple growing old and Belle dying a reference to "UP" movie?!... I mean there are sooo many similarities with the first scene of the movie where Ellie dies. Mind blown and heart broken😭

This was the best ending for rumple and Belle! Even if she died she got what she always wanted. She got her happy ending, a good husband and saw her son become a man and she even got to grow old with her true love. Belle got everything she truly deserved in this show. Rumple and Belle were my favorite ship in the whole show and I'm glad both of them got a happy ending. I hope rumple finds a way to get back to her at the end of the season. I would die happy! I'm going to miss Belle!!!! 😞😞😞😞💔💔💔

It's all about chemistry

I was SO proud of the writers when I saw this episode. I think everybody here can agree that we were all stressing over Rumbelle, they MORE than deserved their happy ending and I was petrified that wouldn't happen. Despite still crying like a baby over this episode, I don't think anybody could have asked for a better sendoff for these two than this :')

That was so beautiful for Belle and rumple amazing episode.

This was the most saddest episode ever

it started out so sweet... and ended so bittersweet... will never be able to watch this without crying...

Rumple and Belle are the most adorable and amazing couple in the entire series.

The way they placed Up in this scene was beautiful. I literally am in tears.

The music in this sequence was just genius. The first time I heard it and realized it was an Up reference I knew what was going to happen to Belle so I started bawling

This episode made me cry. It was so beautiful.

I still remember watching this episode for the first time and literally balling my eyes out over it 😭😭😭

If you play this scene without audio and with the music from Up called married life, it's fits almost perfectly. I'm so glad that they had an episode dedicated to their married life and their son! Emma and Killian should get something like this as well.

Honestly.... I like to think this IS the fantasy of Up's intro, where they actually had a family and make the house just to retire.

The writers at ABC did a wonderful Job at giving an undercard and the fact that last bit of the music... with those chimes and the words "tale as old as time" ringing in your head.

This is so adorable yet heartbreaking.. I can’t stop crying.. They both did such an amazing job in this scene. And in the whole episode! Hecc threw the whole show the two acted amazing together!

#RumbelleForever ! Bobby and Emilie are magnificent together. I am heartbroken that there will be no more of their magic onscreen. That said, I love that they got their happy life together. Now Rumple will fight to get back to his Eternal True Love. Canon.100%.

Honestly, can you think of a better happily ever after montage for any other couple? I don't think there's any of those besides this one. Watching this makes me want to fight for a happy ending.

This is the most heartbreaking moment of OUAT

This makes me think of the film Up. Where Carl and Ellie are living their lives and planning to travel to Paradise Falls. But by the time Carl manages to get tickets to travel to the Falls, old age catches up with Ellie and Carl ends up making the journey with Russel and Dug. At least in that montage both he and Ellie are growing old together. Even the house Rumple and Belle are living in looks remarkably similar to the one Carl makes the trip in.

When I was first watching this episode, I heard the Up music and thought ‘ oh, god... ‘

Up parallels ! 👏👏

When i first saw this episode after it was released on Netflix and got to this point I was like " hey that sounds like Up... And it's a montage like Up... And oh god belle is getting older and oh god no Disney why must you do this to me again with my favorite characters of the show?!" I thought i was the only one at the time that had caught the reference but I'm glad to know now that i wasn't the only one.

This couple was my absolute favourite they had it all so sad rn 😔❤️

They're like the real life version of Carl and Ellie from Up
