The residue left in the bottom of the heat tray are minerals from the tap water! If you have hard water it is best to use distilled water to steam with. This will eliminate the hard water mineral stains. However, if you use tap water any hard water mineral stains can be removed by letting vinigar sit in the tray for several minutes. This will allow the acidic acid to loosen the stains and you can wipe them out with a paper towel, preferably Bounty!...

In the operating instructions it kind of points to that as well, but who has time for that, its the reason I'm here, 😂. I just happened to notice in glancing at it honestly.

This happens with distilled water also because it is the slime from eggs, all eggs are dirty , have to wash them.

On their channel it showed them pulling the lower tray up with the stick to load the eggs on it However i just got mine and no stick came with it and its not on the manual.

I use white vinegar and a tad of dawn to clean the inside of the cooker.

I like the vinegar idea but dawn is incredibly hard to rise off completely. Thank for the idea and I appreciate you watching.

I poked a hole in the eggs and they came out of top of the little tiny hole. They don't peel at well at all. I wouldn't recommend this thing. I boiled seven of them didn't like the outcome

I've never really had that issue so I'm not sure. It definitely takes a little bit of practice but once you get it, it produces fairly decent eggs.

Youd think cooking an egg on plastic would get plastic chemicals in the egg ..

Holy cow that last egg looked horrible!!!! The white one and yellow one are like $11 on Amazon. The black and red are more expensive

The omelette came out like a rubber Frisbee because you put too much water in the tray and over cooked it! FYI: don't over cook your eggs! OUCH!...

The brown coloring left over is from the dirty stuff outside the eggs.
