Bell UH-1 Tutorial 2 / Quick Startup - English Version
Ойындар
This is Tutorial No. 2 about a fast engine startup procedure that brings you up in the air.
A quick startup guide or video may only contain the necessary steps. However, that will be a lousy decision too.
Any wrong or careless doing you catch up at the beginning is hard to correct in the future, and bad habits may follow you a lifetime.
So this Video guide shows not the fastest way to start up, but the let's say most practicable way to a quick start and should be easy to memorize.

Thanks for this, very useful!
Excellent mate thanks. Very much appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Thank you for the tutorial :)
Don’t know why ED doesn’t do something about the throttle up and down function, be nice to have the ability to bind it to a control or eliminate it altogether

The main problem is, that most controls do not have an idle stop. If you implement the throttle from zero to idle on the throttle axis you face the problem how to define idle, and when, getting below idle the engine will quitt.
A great video as usual, but unless you are going to monitor the AC and DC voltmeters on startup, setting the 2 rotary switches is unnecessary. A quick startup is ill advised as you point out, but when your FARP is under fire the quickest startup is the safest!

Hey John. I was not aware of that, so many thanks for the interesting information.
Thanks. Where can I get the checklists?

You find the checklist in the Handbook DCSWorld/MODS/aircraft/uh-1H/Doc
it is not even proper startup procedure and it is long one...

Hey and thanks for your reply. Not exactly sure what you mean. It is not the fastest way, as mentioned and it is not in accordance with the checklist, but it's a fast compromise. If something wrong please let me know so we change it or point it out. ; )
