Belize is the only Central American country with English officially as a language, however, we communicate daily mostly in Kriol, and spanish. Now depending on some parts you might hear more of the other languages such as Garifuna, Mayan, or even the most common languages (Kriol and Spanish) more so over other, but English in business environment with outsiders. The other Central American countries coastal areas also have Creoles who first language is English and speak mostly in Kriol all the way to San Andres, Colombia, South America. 70% of Belizean speak Kriol and most of the population speaks 3 languages. Mexican migrants and Nicaraguan also are apart of those who live in Belize as well. We're a unique and beautiful people and country! Great video! 🇧🇿

Thank you. We are glad to here from a Belizean (I am assuming). I didn't realize 70% speak Kriol. Your gov. only mentions only 40%. Belize sound like an amazing country with very nice people, hope I get to visit there one day.
