@@AlexHernandez-zg4ts it has independence but we still are being ruled by the queen in a way through other people kinda like canada they don't have a president they have a priminister and the're being ruled by the queen too

This is a great video! I am wondering if the image of the calendar you are showing is actually the Aztec calendar, though. I am showing my students this video and they wanted to know more about the calendar, and that image seems to match the Aztec calendar. Also, if you decide to edit this video, it would be great if you could refer to the original inhabitants of Belize as Native Americans rather than Indians since they had no connection to the country of India. Thanks and we love your videos.

Independent, but still has the Queen of the UK as our Queen, Commonwealth Realm and all, and military agreements with Britain, in terms of general training and jungle training for both army's.

Belize belonged to Guatemala.....I'm not sure of the language they speak I'm off Guatemalan ethnic however many are of Mayan decent so it shows that US History books are accurate.

Actually nope those are two different countries and I live in Belize. It's like saying Canada owns the USA which is not the case

The Mayan City states functioned as independent entities although the larger ones (like Tikal) had more influence Caracol was under the insurance of Tikal but won their way free. Even then Belize was independent of Guatemala.
