I love Tilikum. Those were the best parts I think. Tilly should get more interaction like that. He needs to be loved too!

In a lot ways and in the right circumstances....Believe would would have been a WOW thing! Still was...just perhaps under unfortunate circumstances.

Beautiful the bond they had in the water! I wonder if the orcas miss the trainers being in the water with them. They probably do since they are such social mammals.

This video's title is misleading. Tilikum never has swimmers in the water with him, nor has he in his Sea World Orlando career.

I am waiting for the moment when one of those poor captives goes completely rogue and starts feeding upon one of his trainers during the show...Wouldnt blame the wale.

Wow, he was such a beast! I wish I could've seen him irl :( A few of these clips aren't Tilikum though, mostly the waterworks clips :) they never did any waterworks with him at SeaWorld because he has a history of aggression at Sealand of the Pacific (where he lived before).

You are absolutely right. Although I have to admit I have been to one of these shows at Florida's SeaQuarium or Sea World I can't remember the name of it as it was so long ago. But, as I was younger you don't appreciate the rights and wrongs of something like this. If you look at their dorsals on here they are curled over which I think is a sign of distress - compare it to wild Orcas in New Zealand as in this video "/watch?v=2lGje4GvnoQ" you can see the difference. Look how upright the dorsals!

Wow - look at Dawn interact with Tilikum!!!! Pretty sure we saw them do the same in 2008! We recently watched the show where Trua celebrated his 14th Birthday! I was so fortunate to see this and can't wait for the next evolution for the whales!

@@kapes13 I think that was Katina her fin is a like slightly kinked if that makes sense. Even though people always associate Dawn with Tilly other trainers did work with him even though only the most senior trainers were allowed to do so.

This isn't Tilly. After the 2nd murder, no one was ever allowed to get in the pool with him. He was only used to splash. This is not him.

It’s him, he has a pronounced dorsal collapse. These clips were likely from before Dawn was killed.

Yes it is him in the beginning he had a very distinct look plus his size. They were in the water with absorber whale

OMG THIS IS SO AMAZING

Actually, trainers are not allowed in the water with Tilikum. They were, until Dawns death, allowed on the slide outs, but not since. Dawn was pulled into Tilikum's tank from a slide out. The only people that have been in the tank with him, have died. He is too big and possessive. A lot of the shots in this clip are not Tilikum. Please don't misinform people.

Thank you! They didn't have cameras in the tanks at the time so they have no proof and even if Tilly did Attack the man that's because it was a stranger and Tilly wasn't used to people in his tank. If you had a dog that was friendly and someone broke into your house in the middle of night when you were not home, pretty sure that dog would act aggressive in self defense!

They can't release either. Tilikum's teeth are worn down therefore he can't hunt on his own. Nalani is way too young.

I want to start by saying I'm 48 and never and will never go to a seaworld. This is so sad in ally of ways. Do I think the trainers love them prolly. But love don't pay the bills. Whales jumping in pools to small makes money. Humans and money are at fault for all the suffering. The animals suffer, trainers suffer, and the families of trainers. All so seaworld can make money.

May this poor animal find peace now that he's dead.....the kind of peace he never had in life. Watch Blackfish. Stop supporting these creatures being held hostage. It is cruel. No matter how much fun you "think" they're having in these shows, they're not. They're miserable animals. Tilikum was not the only whale to be aggressive towards trainers. Most of the Orca at SW have lunged at trainers, have tried to keep them in the water against their will......so many incidents that Sea World would never release. Only after Dawn Brancheau's death were the public able to see that at least 70 plus incidents of aggressive behavior had occurred prior to her death. These Orca are not happy. They don't behave this way in the wild. Empty the damn tanks.
