Belgrade, SERBIA 🇷🇸 - Surprised by This Truly UNDERRATED City in Europe

Belgrade, Serbia - We were truly surprised by this underrated city in Europe. One of the oldest cities in Europe. In this video, we discover Saint Sava Temple, which ranks among the largest churches in the world. Belgrade also has one of the oldest fortresses in all of Europe strategically overlooking the Sava and Danube rivers dating back to the 2nd century. We explore all of Belgrade including Kalemegdan park, the new, modern riverfront, and the shopping district with everything you can imagine including some of the best craft beer in all of Eastern Europe!! Join us as we explore this overlooked and underrated city of Belgrade Serbia!

As a Romanian I have nothing but respect for our Serbian neighbors. My city of Timisoara has lots of ties with Vrsac, Belgrade, Zrenjanin and Novi Sad. We like it a lot visiting or travelling trough Serbia, also I have a couple of Serbian friends that live in my hometown and they're awesome.

It is safe to drink water in Belgrade from public fontains. Water is 100% clean. There are people, probably in every city around the world, who claim that altho water is clean, the pipes are a few decades old so it is healthier to drink water bought from the shop. But that water is also full of additives and it stays on the shelf for days, so its hardly fresh. In my opinion, if you cant have spring water, Belgrade public water is second best :) Cheers!

Wonderful video! Just to share about the Belgrade waterfront - it used to be a slightly dilapidated but charming, bohemian part of town (Sava Mala) where artists would exhibit and perform and there were many old beautiful buildings. Then it was bought by Saudi’s to build those fancy modern buildings that most Belgraders can’t afford… hence the controversy!

Last year i went to Belgrade with a group of friends. For the first time in my life, I was in shock over how happy i was. I remember one of my last nights in the cabaret club Lafayette, i was standing there looking at everything around me and thinking to myself, is this the happiest day of my life? Going back this year for sure. Just to clarify it wasnt the one party night that made me so happy it was the whole trip. For example, people where so kind. A lady was selling some homemade traditional spirits on the street near skadarlija and i did not have enough cash on me for a bottle and some tissues so she gave me some free tissues and let me go with the bottle, told me i could come back with the money another time. It was so unreal to be treated like a decent human being by a stranger from the beginning. Then i went down to the Docks to see if i could train with some of serbias best Crossfit champions which i've seen a lot on instagram. And low and behold they where there and welcomed me to come train with them?! Although, their training started at like 6 in the morning... Which i missed due to being a bit too hungover. If i would have stayed longer maybe i would have a few sober days for training 😅

Waw i love that church !! Is beautiful ,we have something similar now. We build a catedral ,the bigest orthodox catredal ,it' s near Palace of Parlamient. You didn' t visit it when you where here in Romania. That catedral you can view from the space just like Palace off Parlamient. Why? Becose when our King Michael died the royals family from Europe came for his funeral ( is on you tube) and they didn' t have enought room for them, so the highest priest ,Priest Daniel ( the cheef of ortodox church ) said this is need it! But the ppl are not happy becose that catedral cost us sooo much and we need that money for schools, hospitals ,but they built it anyway. I saw it on google i didn' t go, but i saw it' s huge, really huge. 😔
