The 2.5L turbo motor found in the STI/WRX/LegacyGT and Forester XT Sport is a great motor. However there are some preventable downfalls with it, that if not taken care of; can lead to a short life span. In this video I touch on 4 things I'd recommend doing with your EJ25.
