Ultimately, dialogue is about compromise. If you aren't willing to compromise you aren't entering the dialogue in good faith. This in mind, what dies Buddha have that Christ must compromise? What does Muhammad have that John the Baptist must compromise? What does Confucius have that Moses must compromise? What does Darwin have that God the Father who made the heavens and the earth myst compromise? Nothing. As Wagner says, we are not approaching the table as equals, and pretending we are in slimy at best and blasphemous at worst.

Thank you for the admonishing Christian! I'm really interested into doing Catholic street evangelisation and to call people to repent. Though in my experience from my parish and others around me, generally it isn't encouraged. I feel a fire, yet still dim do reach out to the world around. Especially in the presence of these great evils.

I’m confused as to the import of what you’re saying here. Are you separating dialogue from evangelization? Yes, if you think merely talking to the barbarians and pagans is going to stop them, you’ve lost the plot. It’s also the case, though, that Paul and the Church fathers clearly found a lot of utility and truth by, as you say, playing “buddy-buddy” with pagan philosophies corrupted by original sin like neo-platonism and Aristotelianism. Paul used pagan poetry to preach to the Athenians. Yes, there’s a place for martyrdom and St. Boniface chopping down the tree, but you seem to discount [?] all the thousands of little dialogues between elite patrician Romans and Christians that paved the way for imperial acceptance. Conversion of nations doesn’t consist of one specific action repeated over and over.

The problem is when this is a dialogue, with the non-christian thing being treated as an equal to catholicism as they dialogue. No, there should be a very solid supremacy of the Faith on this process of assimilating good things from the pagans, schismatics etc. And those who call for this "dialogue" usually want to assimilate into the Church ideas from modernity, which was built up *specifically* as a rejection of the Church. We can't do with modernity what was done with Plato and Aristotle

No one says sex in itself is sinful. It is sinful only if it goes against its natural finalities, procreation and union. You don't need to actively seek procreation at every sexual act, merely to never do something that prevents it from happening. You don't need to fuffill the finalities of sex everytime you do it, merely to not deny them.

It’s not the act of sex, the ”mechanics” that is sinful, but the lust that makes it sinful, because it fights against reason. Having sex as a ”concession”/removal of the lust is only venial, but if you allow it to take over your imagination and start doing unlawful acts then it would become mortal.
