Are you talking the ones that obliterate the skin around the nail for "aesthetics?" Cause honey, no. They remove more than just the cuticle. Just use some cuticle oil and leave the living tissue alone. This nail tech is doing it properly and SAFELY

@@xxglowenxx and ugly. if you care for your nails health don’t go to the nail tech at all, do your manicure at home. maybe that’s just the basic standard for me because i am an eastern european, but her poor work simply hurts my eyes. it’s the same as if you said “no, bleaching your roots is wrong and unhealthy bbgirl just leave it be” to the person who was bleaching their hair for years. i mean yes, you wouldn’t be wrong about the health part, but they have already made a decision to change their appearance by doing something unnatural in the first place, so why not make it look decent at least? i hope i made sense, it’s still hard to text in a different language

@mrtvyanjel why are you saying she does poor work and it's ugly after admitting that it's just not the norm to you? Quite frankly, the manicures you find appealing remind me of gum disease. It removes healthy, living tissue for "aesthetics." To me, a healthy cuticle area is beautiful, and she's doing an amazing job at the manicures I'm used to seeing and grew up being told was the proper method. We were always told that if a manicurist brought out cuticle scissors, we should immediately walk out because they should only ever push a cuticle, not remove them, for health reasons. I def do my nails at home, but not for health reasons. I do it at home because I can do my nails myself, and while I admire nail artists, I don't find that I require them. Plus, i would never be able to afford it with how often do my nails lol

Nah I just don’t want the tech exposing the dookie stain underneath my nails.
