I am not a professional as well, but lemme tell you that try to go with a bit of acetone on tips before aplying base. Just take an old brush, soak it in acetone and go over inside of tips (just part which you woul put base later). It will make the surface more rough and make the nails less like to lift. Try it and let me know XX :)))

I’m a nail tech and girl you are doing everything great. Seems like you are a professional and really did your research. I think it’s great that people learn how to do their nails at home instead of spending so much money at a salon. It gets crazy expensive and I know some people can’t afford it.

girl, you swear these videos are boring, but we LOVE them. you are my fav channel to watch nail vids from. keep doing it and showing us all the steps! it is so educational and helpful, and I think I can speak for us all when I say we are not EVER bored. your repetition in these videos is the single most reason I can do my own nails today!

Dude I went to nail school, failed the boards not once, but THREE frickin times. Meanwhile you should have a license just for being passionate about designs and nails. You are absolutely phenomenal and all your hard work is so amazing 💅💕

Yes I love all the mixed nail designs! It’s so fun and cool! Plus I’ve been upgrading all my gel and keep feeling the urge to redo my nails so I can try more of my collection. I think this is a great way to play around with all my colors without feeling like redoing my nails every week haha

Lmao! As someone in the industry, I think it is petty and HILARIOUS that licensed nail techs would be mad. Why? Because you’ll still have customers. Not everyone is capable of doing their own nails, nor do they like it. Some people prefer being pampered and cared for by someone else. Or quite literally cannot do their own nails haha. If you can do it yourself, that’s amazing. It’s like saying nail techs can’t do their own nails. They MUST go to another tech lmao

I don’t even watch other creators videos anymore- I’ve learned so much from you and I’ve been doing my nails (acrylic, polygel,) for the last like 5-6 years- trying out gel extensions cause my nails have been growing really well and hate when nail techs clip off allllll my nail growth.
