I can grow long nails and they look pretty nice but occasionally one will break and has to be cut short....every time I cut it I think of my guy friend, who doesn't even know what mascara or headbands are, casually asking me one day "why aren't all your nails the same length?" I was like "shut UP"

Ahh I just figured out that you could make a natural extension with Jimmygel biab just for one nail, so it's the same colour as the other nails and it blends in, sooo nice. it's a natural free edge colour.

The advice to stop cutting the “cuticle” (actually called the eponychium) is the most solid piece of advice I’ve ever heard. This completely transformed my nails! Just gently push back the skin around your nails and keep it moisturized and oil up daily and over time it will look soooooo good and you won’t need to cut it.

I keep telling ppl this, I have never gotten a hanging nail, brittle nails, or infections and I use my skincare on my hands. Your'e actually not even suppose to cut your cuticles, it's one of your body's first lines of defense against bacteria, when you touch things! Which is why it's not recommended if you work in hospital settings or schools/daycares. Its also how fungal infections happen bc the cuticle is cut and then fungus is resealed under the nail bed either w nail polish or acrylics

Ahh love love how your nails look. I also don't like the bulky nails and I figured out that my nails are superstrong with just rubberbase and biab. I'm going to try that overlay look as well. I've bought jimmygel for that natural look.

Подскажите, пожалуйста: можно такую акриловую пудру без лампы как то использовать? С обычным лаком. А для удаления кутилы самое удобное это ремуверы. Просто нанесла и через несколько минут апельсиновой палочкой все сняла. Ни порезов, ни боли. А еще (это когда-то изменило мою маникюрную жизнь) - проходится по боковым валикам и самой кутикуле пилочкой (не железной, не стеклянной, а именно лазерной). Тоже помогает держать кутикулу в норме и оч быстро. 🌸

Нет, без лампы акриловая пудра не сработает, но можно найти какой-нибудь укрепляющий лак для ногтей или делать солевые ванночки, они очень укрепляют ногти. Про лайфхак с пилочкой спасибо ☺️ Никогда не слышала, нужно обязательно попробовать

I did mention cuticle oil at the end in the screen 😅, but I’m am guilty of not using hand cream at all and very rare using cuticle oil, I should change it. It was my realistic routine though 😌

a question i have! does cuticle oil help with nail growth? tips! i tried putting vaseline on my nails before i go to bed and massage it in, you might see a difference slowly! water is bad for your nails. it makes them weaker, and they break more easily. try to avoid it as much as possible, by putting on gloves when you do dishes, and thing like that. still wash your hands of course, but be careful. wear nail polish! it protects your nail from being damaged. or you can wear clear polish , completely up to you. try to avoid acetone! i can dry out your nails and possibly affect them in the future

Thank you for the tips! Cuticle oil can help with nail growth if it has an e vitamin as an ingredient. But just moisturizing cuticle helps nails to grow too.

Matrix is where your nails form. Creates new cells that become nail. It’s under the base of your nail.

they are almost the same! i’ve seen a lot of people use dip as acrylic but i think they add acrylic to it sometimes. you can definitely just pour it over. that’s what i do to get thinner layers.

If you planning to do a manicure every 2-3 weeks it doesn’t really matter. I believe acrylic is a little stronger, but you can definitely test, maybe just use more layers of dip powder 😌

You should definitely try massaging matrix with vitamin e to strengthen your nails. If you can’t find e vitamin, I heard some people use lemon juice on nails or keep nails in salt water to help them get thicker

How do you use the powder with no liquid? I was researching it and you have to use the liquid with powder. You just dip your powder in your nail after base coat? And then apply top coat?

Yeah, there are different techniques, if you apply it with liquid it would be too thick. I just apply in in a wet base and it makes the base much stronger 😌

My nails grow really long but there not strong and they’ve been long for ages but they don’t last cause they won’t stay strong !

Well, everything in some amounts can be harmful. So choose what is best for you. For me filling out much healthier then soaking it in the acetone. And acrylic…I did not notice it affecting my nails 😌

Hi, just to let you know that is something natural, it usually comes from the use of our fingers and without realizing we do movements that promote the nails grow that way, mine do as well. But like she said just try shaping them with the nail file!
