As a Black American with massive love for all Africans across the continent. I have to be honest, while it is true that many Nigerians are successful and industrious, many also do have a bad reputation as scammers and drug dealers. One thing I can relate to South Africans is that many Nigerians come across as arrogant and belittling. Pride is one thing arrogance and talking down on our SA brothers and sisters is no way to bridge the gap between us as Africans. Even in the states sometimes they have a tendency to do it. I love Nigeria and I love my South African brothers bc I feel we have a similar struggle and strive to overcome white supremacy. I often feel the pain of SAs bc I know how Apartheid was a mental fuck like Slavery here for my ancestors. One Africa One People One Love

I could like this video a 100 times over if I could because the truth and only the truth was spoken. As South Africans, we will never ever ever in a million years hate on a fellow African who is here genuinely, legally to pursue opportunities they may have. What we will never accept is the disrespect that some of us have experienced through illegal activities that are not taking our country forward. If you want to be narrow minded and one sided about judgement towards us then South Africa is not for you because best believe South Africans don't hold back when it comes to addressing disrespect, undermining etc. Thank you Maya for this very informative video. You are truly an African gem and I only hope more of us can follow in your footsteps 💖💖💖

South Africans have no problem with foreigners coming here in the country. In fact I love Africans of all backgrounds but the thing is, that if you come to disrupt the peace i.e. doing criminal then obviously you won't be welcome but if you come with a plan to make something of yourself you usually shouldn't come with any resistance negating the few idiots that make us South Africans look bad like any country that you find around the world. I guess its the same wherever you go even in Africa, you won't take nonsense from foreigners in your country so why should we.

Either way just do what you went there for and don't cause trouble....... Tombi Mashri my dear do you even understand what or who a foreigner is? How dare you even think that people who look like us and have the same DNA composition could be foreigners? The real foreigners here RSA is stuck with and they don’t even look the hell like you. What’s so foreign about a person who comes from another part of the country aka continent? The Berlin Conference has still got a hold of you. In Afrika a foreigner is anybody or anything that came from the Caucus mountains. They don’t have melanin and will never have kinky hair. Their ancestors arrived here and tore Afrika up, raped, murdered, lied, stole, genocide and continue to plunder... so yes South Afrikans shouldn’t feel big headed and be feeling like they have a right to say crappy Eurocentric messages, while they fail to see the bigger picture. Afrika is for all Afrikans and there’s no room for tribalism or self-hate and all the crap that goes with it.

For those certain West African brothers that used to persecute me the South African and had never set foot in South Africa, heed to what this successfull West African brother has stated. We practice ubuntu, and I cannot deny that some of the cases are blatant xenophobia, but not the majority. Be careful of what you are being fed and remember, what you feed grows. Instead of first reacting, pause and use your critical thinking . Thank you Wode for asking those much needed questions. I am disappointed with some vloggers who spew inaccurate information or simply add more fuel to the fire.I hope they modify their approach and follow brother Wode by being fair and balanced.
