Patch notes for the demos:
demo #1: VCO through VCF, 1036 out 1 to VCF cutoff, 1036 out 2 to VCF resonance. Both S&H in w/ their own clock.
demo #2: VCO through VCF, 1036 out 1 to VCF cutoff. 1036 out 2 to 1036-1 sample in.
demo #3: Two VCOs trough ModAmp and a VCF. 1036 out 1 to ModAmp gate, 1036 out 2 to VCF cutoff. Both S&H triggered by an LFO.
demo #4: VCO through VCF, cutoff modulated by 1036 out 1, 1036 clock 1 modulated by 1036-2.
demo #5: Two VCOs through ModAmp, one VCO is sampled by the 1036 with different clock rates.

The LED is not showing the S+H trigger activity, it's showing the frequency of the internal LFO. If you notice the LED is not updating every time a new trigger is received by either the push button of the external trigger input

First of all, great videos about the 2500. Would be great if one can see the example patches better. The patch is not really clear because of the cutout of the video. Keep on!

Thanks for the great review. My unit doesn't seem to behave like yours in one area. When I select the Trig switch the module won't react to anything other than a real trigger signal. I've tried all sorts of gate lengths and signals through the Sample input and it just won't do anything. Strange.

Question what module would you recommend to provide this module with a chord scale or mode? So the output of the S&H would be random notes within a scale?

I use the Doepfer A156 for these things, but the 2hp Tune should also be handy.
Vielen Dank für diese Klasse Tests. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn man wenigstens ein paar Sekunden die vollen Kabelverbindungen sehen könnte, um den Signalweg nachvollziehen zu können. Mit welchem Delay arbeitest Du? Many thx

Hi! Ja das mit den Patches sollte ich mir mal merken... Geht irgendwie immer unter. Hab hier das Strymon ElCapistan als Delay & Reverb drin.

Space Echo ist traumhaft! Vom Original kann ich nur träumen, aber hatte mal das RE201. Beim ElCapistan gefällt mir besser, dass man alle Parameter (Wow, Flutter, etc.) verändern kann, beim RE201 geht das nicht.
Hello, thank you for you clear explanation about the features and functioning of the module 1036. I'm new on modular synths and have started with the 2500 series. I noticed something that seems a problem on mine. Looking to your video, i see you are able to use the envelope, by pushing the manual button of the 1033, to trigger the S&H ( Trigger mode), 08:19. I'm not able to replicate the same with mine. I can only trigger the S&H if configured in Gate mode. ADSR is set with no attack,decay & release at all and sustain to maximum, but it didn't work. I tried both channels on 1033&1003 but nothing happens. Might be trigger circuitry needs more voltage to work? Some calibration needed? Instead, if I use the square wave from oscillator, works in every mode. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! P.S. I was trying the first usage example in your video. Are you using some compressor in the audio signal? Resonance is so strong that amplifiers tends to distort.

Hi! Have you tried setting the envelope to sustain 100%, the rest at zero? This might work. Alternatively, all zero but a very short decay. However, that's not the first time I heard from quite some variation in the module behaviour. I didn't use a compressor here but the mixer from the System 100, and just turned down the input attenuator.

@@synthesizer83 yes...i've tried all the setups...in trigger mode i'm not able to make it work with the envelopes, instead when gate mode is engaged...it works. Maybe it is something related to my module, threshold calibration of the trigger mode?

@@lorenzosolerfuentes8209 Actually, I have the same problem. Don't remember how I solved it last time I used this combination, but currently, I can't trigger the 1036 with the envelope...
