yes of course - youd use the aux sends - either one or 2 (to create a mono or stereo monitor send) - for more detail search for this review on google and you'll find the full review on google video which explains everything in depth - i didnt put on youtube cos they are too long and i didnt cut them up into 10 minute bits

the mac (or pc) doesnt 'see' a mixer unless it connects with usb or firewire - in this case (an analog mixer) the computer only will see soundcard inputs - so if you have 8 soundcard inputs then you send a signal from 8 channels using 1/4" jack leads from the chanel INSERT sockets to the soundcard 8 inputs - or use 4 subs and more from insterts - mix and match basicaly

@xxx1Superman1xxx I dont know about that, Ive had a home studio for 12 years, half my stuff is behringer, and not once has any of it failed. I also play with a band, which uses a behringer mixer, no probs.

Nice in depth walk through. I'm impressed with this board, and I didn't even like Beringer products before. You get a lot for your money here. I just wonder if it will hold up to years of gigging, and the abuse.

God damn you get a lot for your money! When my soundcraft goes down think i'll go for one of these, can't go worong for the money. I like to over drive the gain some times for things like synths or bass drums to give some nice analogue drive. Good walk thorough of the desk, shame it's got no direct outs

not a controller no - i'd have to check the xenyx specs, not sure of the differences - yes u can use 2 x bcf's i own 2 and it works with logic, cubase etc. check the dancetech site or google video for my old bcf videos

nice, however you should be soloing the input to set your input at 0db. then move the faders to the 0db position.. but after you eq, you will need to redo input levels.

@xxx1Superman1xxx EGAD!! I just bought a new 2442fx a week ago. ( New, guitar center, 300.00 ). Yeah, the build quality is not the best, but thats where the price comes in. And, like I said, the next behringer to break down on me will be the first. Well, hope I dont have any problems with it.

@gaurdodarich well, you can just buy one:p where i live (in the netherlands) it costs about €485 wich is REALLY cheap for good quality audio equipment, for a basic allen&heath would cost me a minimun of 750 euro for 16 channels,

please, I want to ask. if i have a personal monitor mixer behringer p16 and i have an analog mixer but i do not have a direct out . So what should I do ? to change

If I bought the behringer sx3242fx would i be able to use it to mix in logic express 8? I only have logic express 8, 2 studio monitors, an amp simulation app on my computer (gearbox ux1), and a midi M-audio keyboard. I guess what i'm saying is what would i have to buy so that the mixer works in logic?

How do you SET the fx to the board? when we turn the board OFF the fx reset. how do we keep that from happening?

How to set it to turn on with a specific efect?

Looking to replace my Mackie mixer I use with my ADAT...since 1995... I'm taken aback, actually,to learn that direct outs are rarely featured on mixers, even dedicated "recording" mixers...I thought any mixer would have those....

you cant mix with this like a controller right whats the difference between eurodesk and xenyx the 2 different styles and im wondering if you know if i can get 2 bcf controllers and mix 16 tracks at once instead of a expensive board

the flashing means the chosen effect has not be set. It's all in the video.

It's relative, unless you live in a 3rd. world country, that's around 708.00 USD, Do you really think that's expensive? I don't know what world you live in buddy but I make twice as much for a 4 hr. gig. , Now an Allen&Heath GL3800M-824A 24 ch mixer for 5,900.00 USD (4,159. euro), THAT is expensive, and last do you have to insult?
