We did a trip last October to the Jackson area to visit my wife's Aunt. I kick myself for not making the time to visit Cat Head distillery when we were there. Love they're bourbon.

Would it be ridiculous to say save about 1/3 of each of the 3 barrels you want to blend as single barrels or as a small bottle sampler to sell along side the blend so you can taste each constituent of the blend?

Where can I buy a bottle
Single barrel is straightforward. But when blending, multiple barrels involved, is the blend determined by equal percentages. In other words, if three barrels is the blend 33% each?

They don't have to be, but that was roughly what was blended there for us to try. Sometimes a barrel comes up short but all of these should be roughly equal.
