I drink whiskey. I’ve spent thousands on whiskey. Suddenly this guy owns it all. I respect him. But he’s younger than me. I won’t say the last part. You need to look deeply into where you put your support.

For someone that whiskey doesn't have an effect on, someone's having a REALLY good and loud time. You keep on keepen on brother.

So awesome that you’re showing off these smaller distilleries that are putting in the hard work to make great stuff. Just ordered their bottled in bond and the rye with your link. Hey If you are ever up north, Chartermark Distillers in Boston, MA is under the Historic Tobin bridge and down the street from the Bunker Hill memorial! They go from grain to bottle all in Boston!

Great episode, Matt seems like a great guy just trying to live his dream. So I made the impulse buy with your link to get the traditional BIB & the rum finished rye. First time buying a BIB, first time buying a "store pick" & first time getting liquor shipped to me. Should be fun! :)

Great video, loved to way ya'll got along and then got an education on whiskey, would love to go on a tour of that distillery. Best of luck to the distiller, and to you and yours.

Thanks for the great content, as usual, you put out.

I would propose that you take a trip up North to Three Oaks, Michigan to get a barrel pick from Journeyman Distillery. The distillery is set up in an old factory which used to use baleen from the whaling industry to make buggy whips and corsets. They make a 100% wheat whiskey that is phenomenal! They are 100% a small craft distillery, with gin, rum, vodka, in addition to their plethora of whiskeys. Small craft distillery, set up in a factory from the 1800's, making award-winning beverages. What more can you ask for?

I just watched some of your road trips so it was cool to see some of the guys you met on those trips join you. A bunch of whiskey nerds uniting.

This is great! I live above the bourbon trail in Kentucky. I love it. I went to Scotland and now I love scotch. I love experimenting with new small batch distillers. ❤❤❤

TJ, you hated the whiskey from Bayou Terrebonne Distillers, LA 1. They just released a new Bourbon, Good Earth. I think you should check it out, its only 2 hours away from Kiln. The owner is a great guy who is really trying to help the downtown Houma area after it was destroyed during Hurricane Ida.

If you find yourself in luray, va, stop at river hill distilling. Vertically integrated from farm to still. Amazing corn whiskey, and bourbon. All grain grown on prem

Kiln also has Lazy Magnolia Brewing which was on the front end of the craft beer renaissance. There’s been plenty of beer and whiskey made in MS. Some legal, some not quite as legal.

I would recommend Red Brest barrel strength for a Irish whiskey and for a scotch try is The Classic Laddie no smoke or peat, Springbank 10 year kinda salty finish and a little smoke, Monkey Shoulder is a good entry level scotch, Johnny Walker Blue is AMAZING is it worth $250+ a bottle????

I haven’t even watched yet but as a micro brewer of beer for 20+ yrs now. I can vouch that this dude is a rockstar because working with a living product like beer/ whiskey is a very fluid job daily tasks that change from day to day. I run a 1000gallon /60 barrel system and I know how many hours I put in every week. Don’t even want to know how many he puts in.

We will be tapping our milk stout I brewed this winter sometime that I put into barrels last spring. Gave the girl a six hour boil. Can’t wait.

That was quite enjoyable and I laughed throughout the video.

I drill right down the road from Crittentens and they are great. I can't say enough good things about Driftless Glen in Baraboo, WI for a good small distiller to check out!!

Holy Crap! I go out in the woods for a few days and come back this, get sooooo excited...only to find that all the bottles are already sold out...such a bummer...
