Rangers made Mick Beale the name he is today - and i dont mean that disrespectfully, as he was a fantastic coach in the industry before hand., but being at gers brought him to the front. I pray Mick is coming home sometime soon. The best coach RFC have ever had IMO.

Cannot ignore what Rangers did in the 2020/2021 season, and the European success. But Celtic won 6 trophies to Rangers 1 in that period, and even St Johnstone got 2. They may claim that they needed three seasons to get back in touch with Celtic, but pundits were tipping Rangers to win the league as early as 2016 when Barton arrived. They absolutely collapsed after Christmas a few times, lost to Hamilton, and blew a golden chance to make the CL against Malmo. For me Beale and Gerrard did the absolute bare minimum domestically. A bit of selective history at times for me.

They won a single trophy in 3 season’s.. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I have a lot of nostalgia for that period in rangers history. How we were so hard to beat, the constant pressing, the passion and tempo we played with, how stevie g, Michael beale and the coaching staff got so much out of the players on a budget, unfortunately when gio came in the players that were already there had reached the end of a cycle and could not adapt to the way gio wanted to play. Major investment and surgery is needed now to make rangers a force again. Hopefully we will see Michael beale back at ibrox this time as our manager 🙏🙏

We had a lucky year because Celtic were imploding in 2020/21. Beale left in the night with Gerard. We were 9 points down before they left and that was the easy round of games with Celtic at home. They lost us the league last season, not Gio. Celtic were on the up though, brought in better players last season and this season again.
